Be truthful the over all line up wasn't very good & there should of been several other head sets included. Not to mention there should of been provided information such as .... The Xbox Series X won't have a Optical audio out port on the console , and will be using USB 2.1 to deliver Audio & really should be mentioned from channels this large. And the other head sets that should of been listed are the Wireless - Lucid sound LS35X - Steel series 9x Wired - Logitech G pro - Turtle beach Elite Atles Areo And a few other's for both That should have been mentioned in this video

skatterbrain He did mentioned the steel series 9x the full name of the headset is the steel series arctis 9x (same headset). I agree they should have mentioned that the series x won’t have an optical port. From what I have been reading all the headsets that connect wirelessly through Xbox right now will work the same way with the series x including the arctis 9x.

I went with the Astro A50 Gen 4, and they are amazing. However, it is important to remember not to live above your means. I spent more than I should have to get what I wanted and while the quality is outstanding, I definitely could have settled with HyperX stingers for my personal uses. Now I get to hear people cussing at me in HD 😌👌

@@adamw7594 you're gonna need battery powered or wired powered headphones to get loud audio if you're connected to a remote controller. The controller can only provide so much power. Try turning headset audio up in your console and game settings as well.

In my experience echo is a result of internet connection quality (bandwidth, latency, ping) and not the actual headset itself.

The only thing that could have been better about this video would be including the price that you can find them for both on the manufacturer website and on third party websites like Amazon. I own both the Rigs 800LX & the Astro A50's Gen4 headsets. While the A50's are freaking Awesome! The Rigs 800LX for money are a close second to the the A50's in my opinion. Both headphones are AMAZING And you can't go wrong with either one.

Minor issue with the Xbox A-50's is just about every time I turn on my Xbox , my A50's like disconnect. To fix it, I have to get up and switch it to PC then back to Xbox. It's pretty minor but a huge pain in the ass. Dozens of times I grab my headset and lay on the bed, then check the party to only see that my headset is disconnected, then I'll have to get up to fix it. Other issue I'm facing right now, is that the base is inconvenient for laptop users that move around the house. Not a issue if you have a desktop. Other then that, they sound amazing and are my favorite so far.

the Rig 800 and any lower series is still my favorite. While not the most comfortable the sound quality is great and will always out do any other headset simply because they come with Dolby Atmos compatibility.

good night from México, i just have bought the virtuoso, i play on Xbox one, and i'm using them in the 3.5 mm conector, and the sound is not that good, the steps are pretty low, i can't almost hear them, the shots of a gun sounds like if they have a filter on it, the sound of that it's like if it was drowned, the music on games is clear and have no problems, they are already updated, what can i do? I have used the app iCUE to try moving the sound, and it do nothing on it, the sound it's like if i have to configurate it, I tried seeing videos on youtube on my pc, just to check if the headset doesn't listen that good, but they work at 100% i know where are coming the steps, they are loud and clear, please help

Also, Astro A50 disconnects from the base station when you set the headset down to conserve battery life. When you pick the headset back-up again it self-powers on. Pretty neat man. I’ve had both headsets. The overall build, functionality and sound goes to the Astros. It’s worth mentioning the Arctic’s base station has an AUX line in and out, unlike the Astro. I don’t use that as I use music via the console while playing games. If you’re on a tight budget get Arctics you won’t be disappointed. If you have extra money then get the Astro A50’s, you won’t regret it.

I have the Arctis 9x and I initially loved them but they hurt my ears after long gaming sessions. I went back to the cheaper Astro A20, they are very comfortable but the sound quality isn’t quiet as good. I am hoping the A50s will be back in stock soon so I can give them a try and see if it might the overall best wireless gaming headset for Xbox. I would love to hear what you think about the Hyperx Cloud X flight.

I would like a Reveiw or the steel series Arctis 9x ,Lucid Sound LS35X , Elite 700x , Razer Thresher , Razer Nari . Side by side. And just individual reviews of the Lucid sound LS35X & Razor Headsets . Not to mention the Logitech G pro headset , the Turtle beach Elite Atles Areo should of been in this list . I under stand this was a budget list but a another list for Highend headsets should be done And the Xbox series X will be be getting rid of the optical Audio out port on the console & will be delivering Audio out VIA USB 2.1 which will support any & all wireless headsets for the most part & these details really should be mentioned to people in these headset reviews from large channels like this one for everyone to know.

After testing the Astro a50 gen4 , steel series 9x , hyper X cloud x flight and Rig800Lx for comfort sound and build I can honestly say the Rig800Lx wins in comfort and sound over the other headphones hands down. Build I’d give to 9x.

I have the 9x and the rig and I agree.. the rigs have the bassy cinematic sound and are super comfortable..but the 9x has such a crisp clean sound... i use the rig when playing with my buddies but the 9x when I'm playing alone most of the time

I have the arctis 9x and they have great warranty support but personally, they break alot and I'm looking for a better built headset. They break specifically where the ear cup connects to the headband.

Just a question: you know of course that every time you try to connect Bluetooth headphones to your tv you cannot use game mode which Of course for most people is a dealbreaker. Just to be clear: if you're using any headset via the analog cable and not the weird proprietary chunky port on the bottom of an Xbox controller, the sound is analog right? Meaning there's no differentiation between left and right audio channels? Explosion on the left of my character- audio pipes in equally on both left and right speakers? Sorry I'm a bit confused.

Don't... I had a very bad experience with this model. I just sent it back. The connection was constantly breaking up, forcing me to restart the headphones continuously while gaming. Needless to say this got me killed more than once ... It is a very well-known issue, but Arctis has not done anything so far to get this solved. Super dissapointed here.

Tried each of these headsets personally, all either way to tight on the head, or the top pad irritates your skull after 1 hour of gameplay. My head may be large, but I’m still in search of a cushioned/non squeezing headset. Wish y’all the best stay blessed.

Riddle me this Batman. For the Xboxone which headset is capable of letting me listen to my own Playlist music via Bluetooth or plug in connection while grinding in the game but also hearing just a little of the in game sound. Wired and wireless options. Thanks Good review.

I've owned the Astro's and the Arctis. Astro's being semi open have a good soundstage which is essential in gaming. They are very comfortable. However they are let down by a poor quality mic. The Arctis have a muddy sound, with too much headclamp, but an excellent mic. Ultimately people are better served getting a good pair of open back headphones and buying a separate mic like the v moda etc

The Vmoda BoomPro mic is a great accessory but it can be too sensitive sometimes for use with open back headphones. I had this problem with the BoomPro and my Sennheiser HD 598SR headphones via Xbox One. The mic would easily pick up game and even chat audio from the earcups (I'll admit I usually listen at loud volumes for immersion, and my ears are likely harmed from metal concerts), which happened even at lower volumes as well. To fix this on Xbox One without a mic gain setting (sadly) I ended up getting the Turtle Beach Headset Audio Controller Plus which filters the background noise for the mic with a noise gate and it took care of this issue for me, and it also added handy audio balancing controls, mic monitoring (better than on the Xbox controller), a mute switch on the controller, and some surprisingly good sounding EQ options (typically I stay away from software audio processing for EQ).

@BJJ Fiend I currently own the steel series 800, I've had them for 3 years. The sound is amazing BUT footsteps just aren't great on these. If you're in a room with 4 walls and 1 door in each wall, you'd be able to hear the steps very clearly, but you would never have a clue which door they're coming from. The direction is just not clear
