I think I finally understand this intuitively/visually/metaphorically (I understood it logically (especially from your positive and negative charge drawings but I couldn't get there internally/emotionally). When you see your Twin as another 'being' you drive your thoughts one direction toward them and thus away from yourself. You're shooting arrows to a bullseye but they hit everything but it because it doesn't really exist where you see it ( because you are the bullseye and the arrow). The thoughts and emotions dump into what feels like an emotional abyss who is a mythical twin-character that doesn't really exist as a separate being or it feeds their thinking ego (because two people are pouring thought and attention into the same ego 'so and so's name' and it's draining and obsessive because you feel it draining out of you. But you're also feeding their ego because now you and them are thinking about the same ego self and as long as they are thinking and focused on their ego (with your help) they have no room for thoughts about you and your ego, body etc. When you focus on your current self (soul) in the current moment you are pouring real and present thought and emotion into yourself (your soul/their soul not anyone's ego) and it feels good and you want more of it and more of it until your DM twin is like wow what is this - my soul is all about So and So and their ego can't compete with that because it's being drained of 'essence' or 'thought' you were previously pouring into it. by stopping your 'water leak' into their ego, they start to feel drained and deprived and their focus switches from abundance of self-ego to lacking self-ego. Basically you go from being this person's 'groupy' or greatest fan to the Star of the show, yourself (or yourselves). When you start thinking about your name (recognizing your name is you not your ego) you and your twin start simultaneously focusing on you(s). It might be wise to believe the soul's name is the DF's name in order to control the thought direction while forming new behaviors / patterns.

It's funny that since I'm more "zen", I fall asleep like a baby around mindnight... I had a long term problems with sleeping, I couldn't fall asleep until 3 am because of the mind chatter. It's incredible how when the mind stops thinking so much, the body can relax so easily. It's wonderful these side effects of this journey :)

I am new here. I’ve been on my twin flame journey for 4 1/2 years been working with a spiritual advisor for six months and lots of money and it took me two days watching Kurt’s videos to realize I was doing it wrong I don’t know what stage I’m at, but I’m still miserable. i did kinda make my own habits rn 1. stop and detach 2. don't get attracted back in 3. focus on your own feelings are telling ya 4. believe that this sht's gonna work out aslong as i keep persistent 5. try to not see the person as a TF to not scare the fuck out of them 6. sleep, eat, and try to be useful at all, exercise too ofc (i just dance a bit and go to my mum and back all the time), accept the gift of nothing if rly needed however that fourth and fifth. darn. like literally if this person is my TF i keep asking for the gift of nothing and yea it does give me nothing LOL so that's a tactic to have them fuck off, but if i ask for nothing is just gonna go "why do u ask me for nothing" and then i do the list again

The most important aspect of diet is to become more in tune with your body. Personally my body is telling me to be pescatarian, but I still have dairy, red meat and chicken on occasion because my body tells me when I need it. Meat/heavy/dense foods are generally the best way to help ground out the intense physical symptoms that can arise from energetic awakenings.

Being on my spiritual journey I feel like my diet change a lot because my soul doesn’t resonate with certain foods no more...it’s just the energy....as in a lot of food with sugar/salt ...I also only drink water nothing else....so glade my soul is guiding me on the right path

I lost a tone of weight doing the keto diet, and now am going to the gym. Plus getting out and walking in nature, it’s so good being able to connect with nature too. It all does wonders, especially on this spiritual journey I’m on!

I am going to try that sleep technique. My issue is I can not sleep long ever since my awakening. I went from sleeping 8-10 hours easily before my awakening, to 4-6 hours of sleep. 6 hours if I’m lucky.

Thank you for putting out this video Kurt ❤ When I was married, I was a stay at home mom, homeschooled, volunteered in my kids' scout & sports programs. I was super mom and super exhausted. Gave and gave but never had anything left for me!Fast forward to now....went through a divorce & devastating relationship with a covert narcissist (who happens to also be my tf). Through all that, God/Source FORCED me to slow down, lighten my load, & focus on healing and growing spiritually. Thank you Kurt! I invested in a new record player recently so my favourite thing to do is listening to music. Focusing on the melody, the instrumentation and the skills of the musicians. Or I sit still for ten or fifteen minutes (the longest I can manage!)

Allow myself to just exist. Wow. Meditation is shifting your attention to the present, to what is. 20-30 minutes before bed and 20 - 30 minutes after you wake up. My body loves when I eat Keto.

Sleep for sure is one that gets easily overlooked or put aside due to everything between work, daily stuff, and then wanting time for entertainment etc. But it's very valuable and getting good sleep is essential for one's health in general. Andrew Huberman's podcast has some pretty great episodes about sleep and healthy supplement options/general things you can do to help get consistent and better quality sleep.

I spend time in nature. Listen to music. Do what is soothing to my soul, which is writing. Self reflect in quiet(meditation sometimes). Nurture my Me. Relax, relate, release. This is what I do to align with my soul as it is different for each one's journey. But your list is great too. Listen to your soul.😊

With regards to sleep, I have different start times over a fulltime week of working. Being a female in my 50s (read significant hormonal/brain chemistry changes) means I also don't need as much sleep as I used to because generally I have, with age, learned to chill during the day much more quickly, draw in my energy and pace myself, even though my job is high energy. I generally sleep a few hours, for some reason, wake up around 3 am, meditate then and stay up for about an hour and a half enjoying the stars/moonlight/youtube vids on topics I love, like Bigfoot , lol, then go back to sleep and/or meditate til I have to get ready for work or some beach/forest/house cleaning/shopping time. I live alone as my adult kids have long left home. Kurt is a male DF, most of us listening to him are female DFs and I wonder if he has considered the implications of this (Kurt, if you are reading this, I'm totally curious!!!) So basically I just apply and make whatever he says work in my individual situation. I do eat well: fresh, organic, raw, unprocessed as much as possible and vegetarian because I am an 'A' blood type and I follow the Blood Type diet. Highly recommended.

Live your life and do what you want but be careful with Keto! I always recommend people do that diet with doctor help. I was on it. I followed it to the letter, did it all the right way. But it does NOT work with my body. It's been two years since that diet and I have LOTS of negative side effects still. My GI Doctor says the diet was a huge contributor to my current health issues. I throw up every day. It's a mess! So just a reminder to everyone that you have to LISTEN to YOUR body and do what's right for it. I didn't listen to my body and I have many regrets
