The face shovel attachment holds 810 tons of material, huh? This guy mixes up so many facts on here, it's crazy. You don't fill a 240 ton or bigger truck with one scoop, either. Awesome machines, but wow.

You have this all wrong on the capacity. The R9800 has a bucket capacity of 62 cubic yards at about 3035 pounds per cubic yard. That is NOT 700 tons. 63 cubic yards x 3035 pounds per yard, divided by 2000 equals..... 95 tons. It's really big, but lets get the numbers straight. The entire machine weighs about 893 tons. Your numbers are all over the place. Please be more accurate. Why exactly does one machine have a load capacity "that cannot be equaled", when the very next one you show has a greater capacity?
@mikeslavin4256

Absolutely right - it's very annoying to listen to such nonsense. You would think that after bothering to make such a video, Lord Gizmo would find a scriptwriter who knew something about these machines. It's very easy to research the details.

Good video, with some nice clips of these beasts. One thing, they have huge buckets, but they don't hold 800 tons of material. Not near it. These machines weigh 800 tonnes. Think about what would happen if they tried to lift 800 tons of material in one bucket.
@horseman9582

Correct. That Hitachi scoops up 50-60 ton of coal in each scoop. Five scoops fills the tip truck, which normally results in a payload in the truck of 250-300 ton.

The engine brand name is Cummins, not Cooomins. This is just one of many confused and incorrect statements made by you Lord Gizmo. Why don't you do your research a bit more thoroughly and you won't be saying things like 800 ton bucket loads. This video could be so much more interesting if facts were conveyed, not mixed up commentary which has no place in videos such as this.

The excavator Terex RH400 and Caterpillar 6090 are the same machine (!!!) because the division of Terex-mining was acquired by Bucyrus company, and later, Bucyrus was acquired by Caterpillar company! Thus, the correct name of this video is: "The 4 Largest EXCAVATORS In The World". Or author of the video have to add other machine, for example XCMG XE7000, see: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ-5oYh3eceIjas

Single scoop my butt. That 42 cu.meter loading 800 tons would bury the truck while loading the dump body. The cat 🐈 could load 103tons so maybe the Liebherr was good for 80 not 800. Also that 42 cu meter bucket would never hold 800 tons even in the heaviest thing known to man or woman.

Well, at least I can answer with regard to the Rh400: oil sands in Canada. You get a barrel of oil per 2 tons of sand. It was designed for that material. The Cat 6090 is exactly the same machine, just yellow, as Cat bought Bucyrus which had previously bought Terex. I know one of them was sold and shipped to Thailand.
