I've been playing for 10 days now and I'm Veteran 3. Here are some things I learnt playing: -If you are leading and it comes to zapdos don't even fight him because you are risking losing it for nothing. People get greedy and want to absolutely destroy their enemies and that loses you games. -If you are playing support,in the early game don't last hit farm as for other role like attacker it's more crucial to get first to level 5. -Using "gather here" or "heading to top lane" is very important as your team knows how to cordinate better. -After finishing you Drednaw or Rotom,(if possible) go to the other lane and support killing other guy. -If you are jungler learn the best route that works for you and know when will buffs spawn again so you can teleport back to the base and kill them asap. If your farm is sitting there forever,me from other lane will take it as you don't take the advantage that you have. -After killing zapdos and scoring don't get greedy and just teleport to the base, camp at the jump pad,so you have full review where enemies are. When you see them scoring just jump on them as it cancels the scoring animation.(unless they have score shield) -Always look at the minimap and be aware -Drednaw is better early game and Rotom endgame where scoring is more important. XP does not matter
@Jrssnjr3 жыл бұрын
Something very important that I feel stays implicit too often (despite you showing it here several times) is that everyone should really train themselves to keep checking the minimap. Example: The other day I was playing a game with good team mates who really all seemed to know what they were doing. It was solo q but everyone played strategically, we won the objectives, took momentum in team fights and steered away from unnecessary exchanges. By Zap our lead in points and xp was rather big. But when Zap started, all 5 enemies were on it, versus only me and one team mate. Three other members of my team were farming for a score on different places of the map. The opponent got zap and won by just a margin, despite all the pinging the game would allow in the span of 15 seconds. These players showed real insight in the game and were all able to work as a team, so I can only conclude that they just assumed they were the only one who had peeled away. With 4v5 our xp lead was big enough to defend Zap for sure, but none of them seemed to even realize it was a 2v5. Keep an eye out for your team mates, your opponents, objectives, xp hotspots and potential team fights, all on that minimap, for all of the game!

Dred and coordinated score pushes can do that, In the highest Master Rank play, you can see the winner before the 5 Minute mark due to how aggressively a single 3v2 score push changes levels, especially if you can farm the opponent's side of the map in the 10 or so seconds after the push. As far as dred goes, I have had way too many matches where dred is contested for minutes by my team while the enemy carry mons wander the map and get over-leveled just to come back and stomp.

My biggest thing is when your team starts zap even though you have a significant lead. losing zapdos can often be the only way your team loses, but they immediately try and rush it down and risk the coin flip. instead, all you have to do is wait around zap, let the enemy team try and push into you, win the fight, and then take it when there is a 99% chance you get it. even if they miracle steal it in that situation only 1-2 opponents will get a chance to score, and whoever stole is likely just dying just after

Mistake #6: Wasting your Unite move before Zapdos. You should always have your Unite move ready at the most important objective of the game: Zapdos. Unless you can get a teamwipe with your Unite move shortly before Zapdos, always save it for Zapdos/the Zapdos fight. (A general rule of thumb I have is when the timer hits 3:00 and I have my Unite move ready, I will save it for Zapdos no matter what. Otherwise I will farm for it before Zapdos spawns.) The team with the most Unite moves ready at Zapdos has the greatest advantage after all. (Not to talk about Broken Barrier...) I swear most people will just burn their Unite shortly before Zapdos and then not have it for the Zapdos fight, costing them the teamfight/the game.

Feeding is a lot more complicated than people realize. Obviously, don't die as a general rule is good, but really knowing the values of when and when you SHOULD get KO'd is really essential to succeeding. This is really important if you're playing the Tank. Here are times when it's ok to die: You're the Tank and you're peeling for your Carry. You should sacrifice yourself for your carry, because 1> you're at a lower level and your point value given to the enemy isn't as impactful as your carry's value and 2> You will re-spawn sooner because you aren't as high a level and you're kill count isn't as high. 3> It's kinda the purpose of the tank, be a big bothersome low value target that enemy teams don't really want to fight, but have to. When you're in a fight and you can make a positive value trade. If you're the Tank and you can trade your life for 2 or more of their's it's worth it. MOBA Team fights really take the form of Phalanx, where the weakest point of the Phalanx can be end of your team. Don't be the weak link as the Tank because you're afraid of being KO'd. Addendum: These aren't hard rules, obviously there are various circumstances where these concepts won't apply, Like if you're a Crustle carry. But these general rules will help you overall if you're playing that Tank role.

Spragels my guy, do you ever take a break? I’m not complaining, it’s because of you I’ve been able to get better at unite and even reach masters but you do so much for the community I hope the company recognizes it and can provide some kind of compensation… atleast a sponsorship you deserve it.

About hiding - lately I've been playing with some people in a team and in a few games, instead of all of us defending goals when we were ahead just before zapdos spawn, we would make sure we're on the healthy side, have our unites, and then hide in the bushes around zapdos, waiting for the enemy team to gather up and then dispose of them before going for zapdos. It worked well a few times but there were also cases where enemy team just destroyed us since they were way better than us

imagine not being subscribed to this channel when it was your go to for Pokémon Unite content for months… Its me, i plead guilty. Anyways just wanted to pop in to say that I genuinely love your energy, your commentary on pro games as well as your own and just all of the content you put out in general. I love gaming but have literally 0 game sense and somehow made it to Veteran class (i thank my duo partner mainly but they think otherwise) but what also made this game a lot more enjoyable was being well informed about strats and tips-all of which I’ve gained from this channel. So thanks for all the hard work, I’ll probably keep watching your videos until unite dies out (or at least, until I do) so I’m looking forward to your next vid yeehaw

My biggest issue is either not farming enough or farming too often. If I’m doing well I tend to let the game roll on without farming only to find myself under leveled late game or I’m doing poorly and spend too much time farming so I’m missing big team fights that aren’t objectives. Finding that balance is rough for sure.
@UsurpersLightning3 жыл бұрын
I made it a habit to check the scoreboard when I’m about to respawn. If the enemy is a couple levels above me on average, I will farm a bit to get closer to them before engaging in a fight.

My favorite star wars character is Obi-Wan Kenobi, he is a Jedi according to the order's principles through and through; but even he's not perfect. He's such a boss in the clone wars series so that's why I like him so much.

Sometimes I stay in team fights too much. Yes, it helps in early game. But without any decent farm the levels get very low. This especially happens with Pikachu as his early team fight potential is enormous with his electroweb. Also pushing too early and not focusing on objectives like Rotom and Drednaw hinders the team more. Though the last problem changes from team to team. Some team play it methodical and others just want stomping and gets stomped instead.

For mistake no 4 aka hiding in bush there is a correct way to do it. Go to zap at 2:07 mark and hide in the bush. Now if ur team comes and tries to get zap just go for it try to get it quick as possible pop ult if u wanna hurry up. But if enemy comes stay hidden. As soon as u think it's ready go for it and steal it. If u can't and zap has health left. Just tap on wild Pokemon button(u can enable from settings) and just try to get it. If u die after taking it np let ur team chuck in those points. I have done a lot of steals u can practice in standard if u don't wanna risk ur rank
@xxenoqueenx64333 жыл бұрын
It’s either you call your roll and your teammates don’t and they don’t listen to what you called or they do exactly what happened with the last example. I also had teammates call one lane and decide to go to the other lane when the game starts

I’d like to get better at bottom just cause sometimes it feels like you completely have to either sacrifice yourself like a punching bag feeding the other team, or you maneuver around leaving your partner to score

You completely breezed over Pokémon choice. So often I get into a game where everyone is an attacker/ all arounder/ speedster. Those games I always lose. Also the games where someone chooses gardevoir and someone chooses garchomp and someone else chooses gengar. Bad Pokémon choice loses games.
@awesomeperson51503 жыл бұрын
Is Gengar still that bad? I understand your point though, my win rate with teammates using Gardevoir/Chomp is quite low

In the lower ranks it doesn't really matter if you're carrying the entire game, there don't need to be any defenders. But yeah, you should be looking to fill in the spots if no one else does

tip #2 i think scoring when its a close match or if ur slightly down right at the 2 min mark is beneficial. it’ll change the tide on who NEEDS zap and who’s just defending zap. as long as ur team follows tip number 1 :P
@DesBischoff3 жыл бұрын
75% of all my loses is because the team starts Zapdos too soon or they splitt for no reason.... Insanely furiating. They need to nerf Zapdos or put in better communication to coordinate when to take Zapdos. Most games were winning all game but then they screw up Zapdos and we lose. Zapdos is almost always the only thing that matters in the game
@joegarcia89383 жыл бұрын
Better ways to communicate would be amazing!!

I’d say the mistake I end up making at times is dying or using my Unite to try and survive right before Zap. This usually happens during team fights for objectives, but a team spamming CC and I’m dead considering I use GigaDance Venu.

U know what? Getting better at this game, I have to be critical of myself. And I am definitely a #1 culprit of going to sneak off right before zap to drop my 50, and plan to get back to center to finish zap. Some times it works, but now I'll be sticking with squad all the way
@largepinkthing86673 жыл бұрын
When I’m hiding it’s usually when most of my teammates are respawning so the best I can do it try to steal, unite, and go to score
@doopness7853 жыл бұрын
The character select lobby should only allow one player to pick center. That would solve that last issue mostly.
@sgpork3 жыл бұрын
That is not gonna do anything. You can call mid for example. Game start. Some people will still come to mid anyhow. Most people just play their own game and dont care About team. There is no team in this game unless you’re in 5 stack. Then after. They go afk or start to spam surrender. Sigh..

The fact that all of this (especially the last one) happens in MASTER rank is crazy.
@rikudouray3 жыл бұрын
1:55 absol started early coz he was afraid that you might loose the team fight because your lucario is trying to sneak a 50 during zap which is a no no. I'd rather fight zap rather than defend it in this situation. Also no one ult lmao. why? Cinder ult is early btw. and he aim it to greninja instead of zap. lmao. Feeding, man I'm glad you included it. There's this stereotypes players in lane who get all the creeps and exp. early just to feed themselves costing your lane partner to died as well and be under level for the first half of the fight which is really bad in recent update. I mean I have no problem if you get all the creeps early as long as you dunk most out of it. Mistake 5: Fighting over the jungle. Man this was the most important part lol. I had so many experience with this in duo solo que. I had a good jungler and he is very kind to let the other person go for jungle. What's worst base on our exp. The moment we gave up jungle. We loose coz most of the jungle in rando fail. Thanks for this vid. I hope more people watch this and learn from experience.

If you jungle with a character that is still a bit vulnerable after their first jungle rotation, please don't brazenly run into the enemy without an escape plan when you go to your first lane. You've now given them your jungle buffs and a good serving of exp to beat in your lane with. Also if you do end up getting killed at your first gank, please consider going back to the lane after your next jungle clear, odds are that enemy lane is making full use of the exp they just got.

I know I take bad fights way too often, but I think that ends up happening because I let myself spiral when solo queuing and watching teammates ignore objectives EVERY GODDAMN GAME. I end up in a "carry harder" mindset after losing the first two dreads, and there's no way back.

I love the call out in this video with people ranting on social media thinking they're so good for their team just because they got the mvp when they lose. I get that sometimes they're right but other times they are the Lucario who's scoring while the whole team is at Zapdos

It's true about jungling. There were gameplays I had where there was a Zeraora chose top lane, then I would go to the central lane but would try to steal central in the beginning of the match.
