I truly appreciate how you broke the 5 steps down and how you were able to detail how the changes will affect the company and, more importantly, how the changes should be communicated to those affected. In particular, automating 30-40% of your role. This includes not just advising the individual of the upcoming change but breaking the forthcoming change to the person so that there can be a sense of security conveyed to the person affected by the change in their role. Whenever a change of this magnitude hits the company, there will be those quick to resist, but resistance comes from fear of the unknown. In this case, the unknown is the individual's future with the company and how they can best prepare mentally to adjust.
