Thank you so much, Dr. Taylor, for this post; I am currently an E.d.D student studying the topic of organizational change and administration. The items you have highlighted in this TED talk are very thought-provoking but also provide some amazing insights. I will listen to this advice repeatedly as it will help when it comes to looking at the resistance to change and the reason why, but then also how to navigate through this can be so complex.

All this talks are all nice, but the problem is much higher or further into the organization, or outside the organization that does not allow a more "human" treatment. Reality is, business are not there to make human life more pleasant...they are there to make MONEY, and more often than not, a more detrimental impact to society's wellbeing, most of them...why combustion cars instead of water fueled cars?...reasons are deeper and darker...removing those that create these darker environment is the key to a more successful and healthier society in many aspects...remember this, YOU DON'T REMOVE THE POISON FROM THE SNAKE'S TAIL, YOU REMOVE IT FROM IT'S HEAD...

Our entire company is watching this video as part of a change theme here. We have 350 employees and change is coming. Fantastic talk. But.... I would have told your mentor to shove it, and I am hoping you never spoke to her again!.....

Okay. Interesting video. But why are her pants so long? Is it a trick to get us to remember the video afterward?

Great topic. Doesn't seem like she was speaking from the heart. Lack of command of the subject.
