For support, I honestly think Braum is overlooked this patch for mid-high elo. With a competent bot laner, he provides so much value, especially when paired with a vayne or lucian. He can be rough to play into a double-ranged lane, but he is like Ornn in the sense that no matter how early game goes, he is amazing in teamfights due to his ability to protect and enable key carries (passive, shield, ult)

Sylas seems a bit more situational compared to Orianna. Some games he’s just not that useful against a lot of mobile champs that he can’t pick off with e. And of course against ultimates he can’t use well.

Predator has been so dead for months if not longer. Whenever that thing is strong the meta is just full of hecarims or rammus running at you at 300mph. Even mid laners give up a keystone to go predator like galio twistedfate. Predator is never balanced. Right now it is completely useless. Riot Augest himself said the illusion of free choice is better and intentionally keeps predator weak.

The difference between a Silver and a Gold player is the amount of ranked games played... Gold is low ELO. And Diamond is mid ELO. Emerald, Plat, Diamond. (Maybe D1 could be considered "high ELO", still sounds weird putting it in the same group with Challenger...)

They should be midlaners, Morgana too, but they lack of mobility and the easy to dodge roots are the reasons they belong to the mage support cathegory. For example there's Veigar who has no mobility but he's E is very big and difficult to avoid if you try to gank him, same happens with Ziggs'E or Heimer towers, Malzahar silent is big and he's shield blocks one of your abilities so they belong to Mid. Meanwhile Brand, Zyra and Morgana depends on landing the stun to escape which make them bad midlaners, and their damage depend on people staying in the same place to keep receiving damage, which is easier to do in teamfights or 2v2 but not solo in lane. However if you prefer to go mid with them no one is going to stop you, just don't deny that even challenger have found them better as supports than in Mid

Also these tier list are outdated format, what we really need is a format of what are the top most picked high elo champs and people form champ pools around them, why they work, whats their strengths, weakness, and why they are meta, also macro plan? Why does no one ever explain whats they should do past 20 mins. Should we perma side lane? Side lane with flanking/objectives? Perma grouping and only push side waves out a little? Come on teach us the game.
