@@austinwood2470 scientifically, the best way to stop eating all the junk food is to not have ANY in the first place, For so long fat and sugar where rare and if you could get your hands on it, you ate it. Now it’s SO accessible but we have yet to evolve past that stage. If your parents buy it without any of your say in the matter it would be, while still possible ig, much harder to not eat excessive amounts. It still is NOT your parents fault but they’re enablers in that situation.

Number 1 rule of trying to lose weight: don’t F**king talk about it, trust me it works I was overweight most of my life and failed diets within the first 2 weeks, but in quarantine I didn’t talk about it a lot and I was finally able to lose 50 pounds

This reminded me of my sister who was complaining about me buying chocolate. She said she doesn't want to even see it so I hid it on the highest shelf in our kitchen. Late evening I see her grabbing a chair and heading to take that chocolate and then she just starts casually eating it! Apparently she was stressed and so diet was over for her
