Really enjoying your virtual pinball cabinet build. Where did you source the button/usb interface board? Thanks

Thanks. I've got mine off amazon. Just search for 'zero delay' on amazon and you'll find a number of options.

nice build ... What kind of legs did you use for it ?
@MONO-LITH832 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Regarding the legs I just made some wooden ones.

How is that possible if you pay more than 100 bucks for a decent monitor alone?

You possibly sell them

Is this a 24" screen? Very nice machine.
@MONO-LITH833 жыл бұрын
Thanks. It is indeed a 24" monitor as the playfield combined with a 15" laptop as the brains and backglass. Imho the combination of these dimensions combine into a pretty believable machine. :)

@@MONO-LITH83 really awesome i want to build a 24" one as well. Like you for my music production studio :)
@MONO-LITH833 жыл бұрын
@@azamat19 Haha. Don't put it in your music studio or you won't get any work done. Good luck!

@@MONO-LITH83 right now i have a 24" screen upside down and a 14" usb monitor as a backglass. Takes up about 1 hours from my worktime ;) do you think the 24" is big enough? Did you ever regret that you didn't do 27"?
@MONO-LITH833 жыл бұрын
@@azamat19No not really. It's a small table of course, but I don't have room for a full size.
@gmr2gnr4 жыл бұрын
Do you have the dimensions or plans for the build?
@MONO-LITH834 жыл бұрын
I don't have a schematic, but I can tell you that the bottom plate is 34 cm wide and 61 cm long. The height at the front is 10,8 cm and the height at the back is 20,8 cm. That results in a 9,3° inclanation for the playfield.
@gmr2gnr4 жыл бұрын
@@MONO-LITH83 thank you! It helps a lot. Just want to say your build dimension is beautiful, symmetric width of the monitor to length of laptop screen. Maybe I'm just OCD, looks good for a diy project.

Does your laptop have a dedicated video card? Or are you running strictly off of onboard gpu? Really nice work at any rate! Mini virtual pinball is certainly having its day!
@MONO-LITH835 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for commenting! To answer your question: the laptop has a GeForce MX150 built in. Currently I have a different laptop with a GTX 1050 since the original one was broken and could not be repaired. My new laptop reaches around 100 FPS on every table I tested so far on highest settings.
