Without Stormtrooper you would never have Clones. In fact I believe more and more that George originaly wanted to explain that Stormtroopers were always Clones. But then he had idea that if they are separate there can be more toys… Also if Stormtroopers had their own cartoon show things might have been quite different.

Clones are F***ing amazing. They had some of the best if not the best stories in whole show like Delta squad, the General Krell episodes, the episodes with Gregor. Honestly, though I love how Fox dies, in the grasp of Vader. It's so satisfying. Also, anyone think Krell looks like Thanos a little?

I believe during the Clone Wars, the clone facility was attacked and destroyed. Once the clones died or aged, they had to be replaced, hence Storm Troopers.

jsbcody Actually, according to the old BFII campaign, the Kaminioans made a rogue Clome Army of their own, and planned to overthrow the Empire, Boba Fett and a small detachment of the 501st was sent down to kill the clones and stop the Kaminoans. After that is when they started commissioning stormtroopers.

jsbcody well before Disney came and said almost everything isn’t cannon that was true because in Star Wars the force unleashed 2 the rebels attacked kamino and captured it so yes that would be a valid reason but now that’s not cannon. The real reason is because palpitine was scared that the clones would soon realize what they were actually doing so slowly he stopped having clones join the ranks

The Umbara Arc in the clone wars was my personal favourite. Little fun fact as well, the Stormtroopers in A New Hope under Darth Vaders command are actually clone troopers from the 501st renamed to Vaders Fist.

@@REYTRACER at the start of a new hope they did not miss. They shot many rebels and the Death Star were not all members of Vaders fist. In addition to this fact the stormtroopers were told specifically not to shoot luke Leia and Han and let them escape so they could take the empire to the location of the Rebep base.

I love that the clone wars series brought so much more depth and emotion into the star wars universe, the only problem it it makes revenge of the sixth hurt even more knowing all the fates of the characters we have grown to love. Great work HFP and loved the video jen.

I watch this again and I realize, Rex has a serious amount of willpower to keep living. As he said himself, everyone he ever cared about was gone, Fives, Echo, eventually Gregor, the entirety of the 501st, it's a miracle he didn't give in to the depression of that and continued fighting for the rebellion.

I do to mate. But in that situation, wouldn’t you have done the same? There’s a good chance fives would have shot him, and it was a split second decision. Think of it this way: Fox did it so none of the other clones would have to. He did the worst part so his brothers wouldn’t feel as much pain as he did

The 501st is named after the real world 501st Volunteer Group. We make our armor film accurate. The Elite of the fan base got an Elite unit in the lore named after them.

So many of them were used, then after the Clone Wars, there was no other use for them other than combat. They had no family, no relatives...the Clones got screwed over by both sides, and that is why I cry to this HFP video almost every time

Absolutely amazing reaction Jen!! i agree with you on the fact HFP make awesome star wars edits like this. I've grown attached to the clone army as i grew up with the prequels and this edit captured some of the events leading up to order 66 and the downfall of the jedi. The part that got me was Tup and Fives not being able to do anything to prevent the chips causing order 66 cause everyone thought they were delusional. But i defiantly felt this star wars edit and keep up the great work Jen!!

Jen tcc, the 501st on Star wars is based on a real Army unit of the 101 airborne also designate as the 501st regiment circa 1940, also the 82nd airborne. Both divisions were made up of parachutist. I think that this was a tribute too the elite status of those units. Glad also seeing you back with more videos of the star wars made by those who are fans of star wars.

The 501st, the first to join the war, the first to see the fall and rise of the empire, the last to leave. Never left a soldier behind and regretted the lives lost. By far the best battalion in the clone army. Loyal, respectful, brave enough to question the orders.

That's the best correlation I have ever seen done by HFP. When Jango Fett tells obi-wan that clones will do their job well? (9:26) He's referring to himself as a jedi killer and saying that the clones will be expert jedi killers, just like him, and do their job of killing jedi well. That's why Jango was the template for the clones! Cause Jango was a Jedi killer! Idk, i just found that fascinating.
