Thank you for this work. There is no book like it. Ch. 5 Knowing When To Be Bad,-Aggression helped me deal with a bully at a job I used to work at. I knew when to be a Fox, Lion, and Goat. I shared the book with my co-worker. Aside from studying the entire book, We used to discuss the aforementioned chapter specifically throughout our shift until we got it ingrained in our dialogue.. Him and I are close like Ghost and Tommy(minus all the murder, drugs, and illegal activities).

The only thing that would improve this already marvelous summary is for the creator to place some explanatory text over the portraits explaining why those portraits are being shown. Yes, I see Lincoln, Nietzsche, etc. but I'm not sure why these images are shown at this moment. This would also build appetite for going deeper into Robert's books, which are filled with the wonderful anecdotes.

So maybe a funny story and a show of lack of research on my end that actually ended up being what I feel might have benefitted me anyways. I saw your 48 Laws of Power book on Amazon and misread what it was about and bought it. I get the book and look at the back and noticed some of the rules are manipulative. I get a bit worried I bought something evil and end up finding out you were in a Jordan Peterson podcast and you spoke about the book. Funny thing is Jordan also had the same question I had about the book and I love the answer you gave and it made me even more interested in reading it once I get to it. Ended up buying 50th Law since before I saw your book, I was interested in a book 50 Cent wrote recently and really thought about how that man built his empire. Read from a reviewer of 50's book that his book is basically an expansion of what you wrote in 50th Law. Looking forward to reading all of this and I will for sure buy the others in your series once I finish these three!

There is no book like the 50th Law. I would argue, that It is the only book in modern history, that infuses street smarts with documented history. I would also argue, till this day, not one move, interview, or venture Curtis Jackson has made, deviates from the fundamental tenets of the 50th Law. The 50th Law allows me to use The "Power" television series as a point of reference to better decipher the many lessons in the 50th Law. For instance, the club TRUTH was named after the name of the Hustler 50 cent mentioned in Ch.1, 4th prgh, 1 sentence in the 50th Law. Although 50 Cents current book "Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter" is full of uncommon Wisdom, another 50th Law book, possibly a revised version would be helpful to those of us who know the untapped potential of this classic. By the way, GHOST AIN'T DEAD!!!!

lets say you have to "act" in a survival situation, as in you came to the conclusion that acting and making others perceive you how you want them to gives you the best chance of survival, does that mean you are no longer "being yourself" if yes how/why if no how/why and if it does mean you are no longer being yourself, does that strip you of power or give you more power?. at 1:58 "completely yourself" is confusing to me.
