Ahhh my old pride and joy. Looking so much better with a respray and the wheels. I do remember that the fueling is pretty much maxed out, so if you wanted more power, you'd probably need to increase injectors to 1600's. Great to see the vid though, and the car running well. I was also waiting for you to spin it on those damp roads, cos I remember how twitchy it was on boost. Ha ha. So well done. 👍🏽

I’m sure I speak for a lot of people, but the old school cars, that are built properly is much better content than modern German stuff with bolt ons and a map. These sort of cars have so much more character and the people driving them usually are proper petrol heads!

I really miss my GTS Turbo. The car itself was a load of fun and you can’t deny that the design of the Mk2 was absolutely spot on. Smokey Nagatas GT-300 Top Secret Supra had a stroked MR2 engine in. Testament to them.

I’ve owned mr2s for 10 years now. My turbo is my favourite car ever. I’ve driven 911s etc. I still enjoy the mr2 the most. If you get a chance to go out in a mr2 Turbo. You won’t be disappointed. Great vid.

Toyota did NOT rectify the snap oversteer. All the SW20 MR2's suffer with it, but that's the nature of MR2's and small mid engine cars for you. They just softened the edges of the later cars.

I've never understood why MR2's never get much love shown at car meets, or in magazines. They are VERY capable cars, have a fantastic history, and the 3S-GTE is one of the best engines to leave Japan.
