I am so grateful that country music embraced hootie!! He has made such a contribution to the genre, and unmistakable voice!! I get choked up every time he comes on the radio. Beautiful lyricist and yes I know his name is Darius Rucker. He's actually he's kind of an icon especially if you count hootie and the blowfish!! But to me he will always be hootie!!
