What are your thoughts on the POTY 2023? Personally i find it an extremely wonderful piece.

I made sure to prior request this GVFC Pen Of The Year from my retailer in our capitol city about 90 miles from my home. I received a nice low number, I will only say the range 0XX/375. When I arrived there, the limited edition Ancient Egypt pen was waiting for me, along with a cigar & great conversation about fine writing instruments. Will I save as an investment? That was my original plan.... But Alas, it's already been inked up and I've begun enjoying this pen. Cheers!

What a great release! I love the way this edition turned out. The matte black body is simply beautiful and the hieroglyphs that adorn the barrel are stunning.

Im sure many people will see the value in this pen and not worry about the price tag, But, i personally find it hard to justify. when i want to spend a large sum of money i want something one of a kind and difficult to replicate, but i know ill be able to get a replica of this one day for 100 bucks that will write the same...

a fool and his money are easily parted, 375 pens at €5800 is €2.175,000, really? this is where most people are so gullible, its pathetic, put something in a fancy box, get the Ad men to come up with the spiel and you'll find a sucker every time, by the way, I love fountain pens, and, even if i could afford it, i still wouldn't buy one.
