Did you have a chance to try both menus? I was able to nab both reservations but I can ultimately only do one. Trying to decide which one to do

Hey Dillion, that is so exciting! We were in the same boat, and ultimately decided on the regular tasting menu, because we felt like it had more of the "iconic" Pujol dishes we couldn't miss out on (especially the mole!) We saw people eating the taco menu when we were there, and it also looked incredible. Have an incredible time, and if you do get the taco menu, please let us know how it is!!!

It IS scary... how these little bits of "high-end" ingredients cause a sensation. Maybe I prefer "home cooking" - but honestly - it seems better. Why do I need to eat "ant Larvae" and Cod Sperm to be current?

Haha I totally see what you mean, at times it seems like places serve these obscure ingredients for the sake of obscurity and to get a reaction (and social media shares) out of people! At Pujol though I thought the use of ants was cool because they gave a taste of the country’s past and an ingredient that is now unusual, but was popular during pre Hispanic times in Mexico. I do love me some home cooking too though, and don’t think I’m ready to try cod sperm any time soon haha.

It is so interesting and cool that we could have such different experiences! I've had a lot of bad mole in the US in my life, so i think part of it for me was that this was the ultimate redemption of the dish haha. What was your favorite?
