very helpful questions, but for some of us with those so called "public sector gold plated pensions" and who work in the manual trades the first question for myself is what will my health be like if i continue to work until my NPA and if i retire early say 65 rather than 67 can i survive on the reduced pension, aspirations are last and probably not attainable.

What you're retiring to is such an important question. I dropped down to a 4 day week and lasted less than a year before going back to full time as i hated it. Not sure I'll ever want to retire, which does make me question why I'm still paying so much into my pension... Graphics ok, associated noises a bit distracting
