5 seconds in, you had the measly ‘Like’. Your nonchalance in delivery towards fans of autofocus on a lens, “Then GTFO of here.”, had me subscribe with chuckling pleasure.

Usually* there’s no need It’s so funny that people look for sharper and sharper lenses and then immediately once they start processing/editing it they add grain and attempt to combat the almost distracting level of oversharpness in modern digital filmmaking.

Dude... This... is... genius! Not only the lens, but whole combination of color correction, music, montage is actualy making the lens better. I was amazed, how you could combine 3:03 slow music/fast montage and running scene / cigarette scene. Great idea for visualizing memories. Subscription!

Nicely done. I have a 70s Vivitar film camera with a 135mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8. I use both lenses on my A7 - love the soft, warm imagery they produce. I see the same thing in the 28mm f2. Bravo. Magnificent video. Love the ambient music selection.

Definitely a good alternative since 27-28mm options are slim out there outside of expensive cine. Can't beat the analog vibe of getting looks live too, same with using Fuji sims, lens filters, lens whacking, etc I've grown to enjoy getting looks as I shoot vs post. Something more alluring about it the older I get, guess I just appreciate the organic experience of it vs clicking/dragging in post.

Love this content, I’m sick of wasting money on what can mostly be done cheaper in post production versus thousands in gear. Reminds me of the girl scratching her lens to get a vintage look. And a guy made a video about how to do the same look through photoshop

Mine was also stuck at 2.0 but seems that all you have to do is unscrew just a little bit 4 screw on the back of the lens and then suddenly aperture ring will be unlocked :-) Just make sure to find the perfect spot - if you unscrew too much you will notice some looseness in lens construction.
