Some interesting facts about Sosa’s 600th: Sammy Sosa hit 609 home runs in his career. He hit 545 with the Cubs, and 22 with the Rangers. Sosa’s 600th was the ONLY home run that he hit AGAINST the Cubs in his career. With the Cubs, Sosa wore the number 21. His 600th home run was hit against Jason Marquis, who was wearing the number 21
