The '6Ks'! Engineering trains at Tain

Hello and welcome to another video!
In this video we have a very early start at Tain station for some '6Ks' engineering trains arriving from Millerhill. Engineering trains are often referred to as 6Ks as their train reporting headcode starts with 6Kxx.
There were 4 trains due, which each would in turn arrive at Tain station then enter a possession to the north and head to a work site up the line.
GBRF, DRS, Colas and Freightliner were the locomotive providers but Colas hired some 37s from Harry Needle which was most welcome.

Brilliant video!! Double 37s on an engineers train is something I could only wish for.. same goes for such a great variety of operators coming up for the engineering work - I only get Freightliner and if I'm lucky, GBRf.. and if I'm INSANELY lucky; Colas..... 😅 Brilliant video, nice selection of trains, brilliant bits of thrash and some nice tones, plus a nice cameo from that 158 - Great pictures too, especially the thrashing 37s! 😍😁👍
