What was the actual motive here? There have been cases where a horrifically misguided mom killed her kids, believing that she was sending them to heaven, there have been other, much more evil cases where the mom kills her kids as some sort of twisted revenge against their father, but this doesn't make any sense at all . . . there are definitely some missing pieces in this puzzle.

I hear throughout this case “drug addiction” but no one should blame addiction because there are child murder cases where drugs were not involved whatsoever. There are functioning addicts that have good jobs,care for household,kids are taken care of,etc and the functioning addict parents never once thought of killing their kids. I think it’s parents that just don’t wanna be parents anymore. The narcissistic parent that is tired because it’s not all about them anymore and miss the attention that they don’t get anymore. Im just trying to figure out those mothers that can do this. Anyone else with reasons why some moms can kill their kids? Those poor babies should have never been allowed to live with their mother.

Daryl and his father are the perfect picture of what a man should be my mom used to say any person can be a father it takes a man to be a dad and these two were the perfect example I know Darryl is there brother but he was only brother to one of them and he didn't look at the other one any different they was his brother's. And for his father. My ex wife would ignore the kids all day, all week, etc. Then like a cigarette, she'd spend 5 minutes a day snapping pictures with them for smiles and posts then go back to ignoring, leaving the house for hours to days. Leaving me as a stay home dad, out of protection for the kids, I was forced to quit my job to make sure my kids got raised, ate, slept well, learned new things, etc, because my ex didn't want anything to do with them. Yet... on divorce, of course, she got full custody, even though I was the one to file it. So dumb. Good luck kids.
