They were not obeying the name of Jesus and I didn't know what else to do. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, they were all running for their lives, fleeing in terror as fast as they could!! Archangels names end with the letters "el" I have not seen any information indicating the last two in your list are actual Archangels.

Humans can go to heaven but they can't become angels. Thanks for the scripture, like most other people I'd always been led to believe angels were pale white like ghosts. It just goes to show trust the Bible not any painting or media representation. It's the clothing they're dressed in which is white symbolising the purity of their soul. The body is not important - it's the heart. I hope you won't be offended but burnished brass is not the colour of any 'man', but a metallic non-shiny 'brass' colour if the pictures on Google are to be trusted.

Angels are human like, not like human there is a difference. difinitely scary, but maybe that is how our mind really works on filling a void of what we see that is not natural, but supernatural and does not fit any real picture to compare it with.
