I know this may sound far fetched, but I believe, when I was in one of my darkest and most grievous moments, after the death of my husband, and when I was contemplating whether our Lord had abandon me, I saw my guardian angel standing behind and a little above me for a mere second. He or she did not seem to have gender but appeared spirit-like, not solid. He or she did not have wings but did have some type of robe and much light emanating from him/her. It may have been a nanosecond, but as I blinked to focus, he/she was gone. This may sound crazy to others but was very profound to me. There was no malice, nothing said, only a feeling of comfort and reassurance.

Angels are SPIRIT BEINGS. Scripture DEPICTS angels as if they were MALE. Every reference to angels in Scripture is in the MASCULINE gender. The Greek word for “angel” in the New Testament, angelos, is in the MASCULINE form, a FEMININE form of (angelos), DOES NOT exist. When angels appeared, they were always DRESSED as human MALES. In the MANY appearances of angels in the Bible, NEVER is an angel referred to as “SHE" or “it.”

I'm 73 and my late wife and I were baptised Catholic in the year 2000 it's been an enriched spiritual journey and we involved ourselves in the many prayer devotions that the Catholic Church has (Rosary Stations of the cross Divine Mercy etc) to build faith and understanding with Jesus Mary the saints and all the Holy angels of the Heavenly Kingdom During the month of September my late wife and I would honour and venerate the Holy angels of the Heavenly beginning with Day 1 'Jesus Head of the Angels' Jesus is head of the angels as well as men and it is as man that Jesus is head of the angels The first day is an introduction to the angels and the origins and creation of their existence so much knowledge on day 1 which ends with a prayer 'Blood of Jesus precious blood'....The final day day 30 is 'Mary Queen of angels' which opens with the prayer 'O my Heavenly Queen' and ends with the prayer 'Prayer of love to the Queen of angels' The whole month is filled with knowledge prayer novenas litanys the nine choirs of angels the 3 archangels the hierarchy the nature and function of the angels your duties towards your own guardian angel angels at the hour of death even the spirits of darkness and where they reside so much knowledge and information

@@mariel9385 My nuns must have been lazy .... don’t know 🤷‍♀️ we concentrated on parables and Biblical stories and retreats and benediction every Friday.., it’s a little weird that we had 2 different experiences but I honestly do not recall learning much of this.. we did discuss “guardian angels” but se didn’t do any of what Dr Taylor was talking about here… I was taught be the Sisters by of Mercy in both primary and secondary schools.., I also had a v heavy school work Load and whilst we said prayers before and after each lesson and wrote OMDG on every page.. in secondary school there was v not a v lot of time for religious education per se.. that’s just how it was.. there was a church , a lovely little church called St Michaels attached to my primary school And a big cathedral , St Brigid’s attached to my high school., and a big boys college as well where De Le Salle Brothers taught.. and we were not short of anything but we didn’t cover this aspect Of Catholicism.. I really think It was because of time and a heavy scholastic workload.. but Benediction every Friday happened along with times for confession and mass.. so I’ll have to learn from Dr Marshall.. I’m Happy to have the opportunity to do that! It’s really interesting!

@@johngraham5948 Well.,. You put me to shame., I honestly think people who convert to Catholicism later in life and aren’t born to it (so to speak) .. learn a lot more .. And that’s a good thing! I mean I don’t even know half the things you are referring to so you have given me something to follow up, My Catholicism was more constant prayer 🙏🏻 before and after every lesson, in primary school we spent time preparing first for confession, then communion, then confirmation… that was a lot of time out of a school day.. we had a lovely little church, St Michael’s attached to the school (where I Later got married) and we cld visit any time we wanted. I had to walk a long way to school (my parents didn’t have a car) but in primary school I wld make Novenas of communion and mass , or Benediction, sometimes 9 days straight and sometimes first Friday of the month., in those days you had to fast from midnight to take communion and I can remember fainting at the Altar rails on 2 occasions at 6 am mass, coz I had to walk to and from the church, come home have breakfast and go walk back to school ., which was about 40 minutes either way… The nuns were great educators but did use the cane., I always wore a scapula. I was v devout.. but high school was v different. There was a re-organisation of schools and I had to go to a new school, St Brigid’s and catch a bus.. it was huge and also had a big boys De La Salle college attached . There was a cathedral and every Friday the boys and girls wld go either to benediction on Friday or Mass.. the girls wld fill up the left side of the church and the boys on the right side. We said prayers Before and after lessons but we were not taught a lot of “religion”., it was more about living the faith We still said a prayer before and after each lesson and wrote OMDG on every page but the curriculum had changed allowing girls to learn science, physics and chemistry and we were the first year of it., in fact the 8 of us who did it were escorted to the boys school as they had a laboratory set up and the girls school didn’t.. and the nun wld sit quietly at the back whilst we had our lessons.. I was going French, LATIN, Science, Chemistry,Physics, Math I and II, History and English Literature., plus sports .. we did not have religious “lessons” in high school at all.. there simply was no time left and we had received all the sacraments by high school.. we went on 3 day retreats every six months, had prayers b4 and after lessons and mass/benediction every Friday plus we were allowed to go to confession in the cathedral at nominated times.. so high school was more about practising our faith rather than learning more of the Bible ., if that makes sense. So being baptised as birth and raised in Catholicism and catholic schools is v different to converting I think.. .. After Vatican 2 I lost interest . For various reasons..in God and the sacraments.. Catholicism .. not God, is a v long and difficult road. Anyhow I’m pleased to learn that I have soo much still to learn and will start watching these angel/levels of hell videos.. may God always be with you and stay strong in your faith 🌸🌸

Father Chad Ripperger, an exorcist priest, has mentioned that the fallen angels can't read our minds only God can, although they can try to attack the faculties of the mind based on what they have learned about you including what you have said like memories you have mentioned etc. They always try to get at the mind. You should also read Ripperger's book called Dominion. It really dives down into the not just the angelic hierarchy but also the angelic nature of them.

@mark dettra You're right our guardian angels can fight back and win against the demons. They are way stronger than the demons are. That is also why Father Ripperger and Father Lampert always encouraged people to call upon their guardian angel when trying to avoid temptation that leads into the sin itself. I know what you mean when they say it like that breaking the second commandment. It's so disrespectful to the Lord. It's sad when people have gone like that and don't think about how it displeases the Lord. I've heard it so many times that I've lost count in the crazy world we live in.

In Manila, Philippines, there is a beautiful Catholic church called San Miguel Pro-Cathedral. This church has a permanent chapel annexed to the church for the 24/7 adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Inside the cathedral are magnificent stain-glass windows each depicting an archangel, all seven of them. Devotional pamphlets are provided to visitors at the door. It is a very holy place and is located a few blocks away from the President's Palace called Malacanang. I visited there and in the adoration chapel St Michael appeared and he showed me how he worships the Blessed Sacrament. I have since striven to worship the Blessed Sacrament with the same reverence.

The ban on using Angel names would seem to be a Western thing. We don't "name" Angels in the Greek-Catholic Churches (they have their own names, we lack authority to rename something already named by God) nor do we refer to our own Angels by name ("Angel of Christ, my holy guardian, save me, thy sinful servant", etc.), but we don't seem to be nearly as restrictive as the Latin-Catholic Church in regards to those angels whose names are publically known.

Very interesting content. I do wonder about Angels being more than spirits as some or maybe most of them have the ability to be physical. For example, Angels being able to eat food (see Sodom and Gomorrah) and wrestle with Jacob through the night. Also, the sons of God took the daughters of men as mentioned in Geneis Ch.6. To me, it seems they were able to manifest physically. Perhaps it is something like a Glorified Body or in their case an Angelic body.

There are no 7 Archangels! THE PREFIX "ARCH", MEANING "CHIEF" OR "PRINCIPAL" IMPLIES THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE ARCHANGEL, THE CHIEF ANGEL; IN THE SCRIPTURES, "ARCHANGEL IS NEVER FOUND IN THE PLURAL. I think it's based on the principle that no one is in heaven , unless they be SAINTS , even the obedient angels who never sinned when tested about whether or not to serve God. They remained faithful and remained confirmed in grace. Their grace , and the graces WE receive are all from God's immeasurable goodness that produces saints.

Angels are not saints and cannot be. The ancient Hebrews/Israelites knew this. Study this in Paleo-Hebrew and you will learn the truth. Study it in modern Hebrew and you will get lost, just as you will with modern Christian canon scriptures/bibles, as they pull their canons from Rabbinical Judaism, which turns Torah upside down and against itself, deceiving the masses. Be careful of those scriptures. Read Rev 2:9 and Rev 3:9, as our Messiah tells us who to look out for. Yah bless!

7 Archangels? You are in error. Scripture calls them Angels, not Archangels. You don't get to change the Word of God. What is the warning in Revelation 22:18? "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" Again, you are in error - and with the 'Dr.' in front of your name, you should know better.

There is only 1 Archangel mentioned in the bible and that was Micheal, the Greek root word archangels, is made up of arkh, "first or chief" and angelos "angel " he is mentioned specifically in Rev 12: 7-12 also Jude 9

Three Archangels, four Archangels, seven Archangels, twelve Archangels, or perhaps twenty-four, or fifty-six, or two hundred seventy eight Archangels, who cares, except the Almighty. Whether the Almighty created three, or three hundred million Archangels, without revealing their existence or their identities to mere humanity, is not, or at least, should not be our concern. Archangeluality, if that is actuality a theological concept, should likely, and rightly, remain outside the realm of human comprehension. I, for one, would welcome and appreciate three hundred million Archangels, doing Gods bidding through out the His vast universe.

Answer to the problem of Evil: The Manual of Discipline, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, says that God created two great spirits, one of truth and one of perversity, the latter being the angel of darkness. 'Through the angel of darkness, however, even those who practice righteousness are liable to error. All their sin and their inequities, all their guilt and their deeds of transgression are the result of his domination; and thus, by God's inscrutable design, will continue until the time appointed by Him.' Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) 😇 the Spirit of the LORD (Ruach Yahweh) 👿 Just as "Ruach Elohim" from Genesis 1 is "Spirit of God" and not "Spirit God", "Yahweh Elohim" from Genesis 2 is "LORD of God" and not "LORD God". Usurper: the LORD of God (Yahweh Elohim) Deciever: the LORD your God (Yahweh your Elohim) God (Genesis 1) has a bunch of titles. The usurper/deciever (Genesis 2) wants God's titles. In Canaan (Bronze Age Israel) Yahweh was called Baal-Yaw or Baal-Yam (see Mt Ebal curse tablet YHW) and his titles were the Dragon, the Seven-headed Monster and the Twisting Serpent (in reference to twisting scripture)... Baal-Yam (Yahweh) was the first King of Canaan. ...then he got kicked out of Heaven (off Heavenly Mt Saphon) by the good Lord Hadad. This all happened in the Baal Cycle which is the prequel to the Old Testament. Baal means Lord in English. Lord means Baal in Bronze Age Israel (Canaan). Yahweh makes you kill your relatives, friends and neighbors (exodus 32). Yahweh accepts child sacrifice (Judges 11). Yahweh is from Edom and Seir (judges 5, Deuteronomy 33).

More info on the Manual of Discipline: 4:26 is a treatise which explains in theological terms the position of the members of the community in this world, as well as their destiny in the world to come. The basic theme of the sharp division of mankind into members and those outside - already clear from the preceding homiletic and liturgical parts - is here seen as ultimately due to God's providential planning of everything from the Creation on. He has given man two "spirits" (of "truth" and "iniquity") which struggle with each other in the heart of everyone (4:23). As a result of this conflict mankind is divided into sons of "truth," "righteousness," and "light" on the one hand, and of "iniquity" on the other. The two "spirits" are not to be taken as cosmic, dualistic principles (as in Zoroastrian theology), but in accordance with the use of "spirit" in Hebrew psychology (cf. within the pseudepigraphical books Test. Patr., Judah 20:1 which affords a close parallel to the Manual here). Nor is the "dualism" expressed here either absolute, physical, or cosmic but ethical and eschatological: God is in control from beginning to end, and "the angel of darkness," though in charge of the "sons of iniquity," is clearly inferior to God, in the same way as the "prince of lights" rules over the "sons of righteousness" in a capacity subordinate to God, who, for some unknown reason beyond human understanding ("according to His mysteries," 3:23), allows the "angel of darkness" enough power to cause the "sons of righteousness" to sin "during the period fixed by Him." Eventually, however, God will utterly destroy the spirit of iniquity from a part of mankind by a holy spirit (4:20ff.). The pious, chosen by God and yet responsible for their acts, will then enjoy "healing and great peace… together with everlasting blessings, endless gladness in everlasting life … in eternal light" (4:6ff.). The damned will suffer "eternal perdition … together with the disgrace of annihilation in the fire of murky Hell" (4:12ff.). Neither the Messiah nor the Resurrection is mentioned. The theory of Zoroastrian influence in this treatise, although accepted by many scholars, is rejected by others, who feel that the themes of the essay are satisfactorily explained against the general background of apocalyptic circles of the time.

I remember a few weeks ago I was leaving work, and I like too ride my mountain bike to work as I was approaching the bike rack there is a metal picnic table right beside it, and at that table sat a young gentleman reading the bible, as I was unlocking my bicycle I just happen to glance over at him, and he looked right at me with his big blues eye's and a slight smile on his face as if to say everything is going to be ok, and I have never ever seen anybody sit there in all the time that I have worked there, and after that day I never seen him again, and I have been going through a rough time in my life starting over and other things, also been seeing synchronicity numbers every where to, strangely enough.

MrDave4464 Yes I believe you. My own experiences have shown me the angels are around/with us always. Very shortened story... while in art school (college nyc) my 1st yr sculpture class, that semester project was plaster sculpture we were to be graded on. The last day bf a holiday weekend I debated to bring home my sculpture (bc I had to ride bus and subway) or leave it in a cabinet locked up. As I stood alone (NO ONE near me in the class) a voice so perfect and clear right by my ear said “if you don’t bring it home it will get STOLEN”. Well that really got my attention and I went over to a friend to mention this but she didn’t seem to think it was a concern. Well sadly, I left it locked up and upon return days later we went to the cabinet to retrieve our projects and mine was GONE! Was beside myself distraught and when I questioned the instructor about who had access to a locked cabinet etc... he blew me off and I knew then it was him who stole it. I should have listened to what I believe was my Guardian Angel.
