I am Japanese. I am planning to go to Samui Island in February. I was thinking about what to do in Samui Island and this was very helpful. Thank you very much. I have subscribed to your channel.

Your review encouraged me to make my next island hopping adventure in Thailand to include Koh Samui for the first time.

Hey, loved the video and hearing your opinions on Samui. My question to you is what are the places and islands in Thailand you enjoyed more?
@josh.onthemove2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I like different places for different reasons. Samui is great for a holiday, as is Krabi. I like Hua Hin for longer stays 👍🏻

Hi Josh, thank you for the video, if you dont drive a scooter can you do similar "ride around" either having someone to drive for you or public transport? I am guessing there is no publuc transport but worth asking

Hey Josh, I'll probably be heading to Koh Samui for a month or so to live as a digital nomad in December. Where would you recommend staying? Have heard it's very touristy and a bit of a shit hole in certain parts. Thanks

@@Troffffy good question, I’d lean towards Lamai, Chaweng or possibly Bangrak. I personally think Samui is better for a holiday than living/ long stays but if you have good accommodation and good transport it’s still a great island. Just depends on your preferences 👍🏻

I’m gonna be in Thailand in March and I just booked a flight from Pattaya to Koh Samui for 3 days. I’ll basically be there from Thursday night to Sunday morning. I have no idea where to stay. That’s my problem right now. I have the flights booked. I just don’t have a hotel yet.

Don't listen to this prat... Been going to Samui since 2001. He knows nowt

Lol, did I not say in the video it’s my preferences/ experiences? I also had advice and guidance from people that have been going and lived there longer than 2000, does their opinion and advice also not count? Why not share something valuable like the best things you should actually do, instead of just saying don’t listen to this prat? Your experience could be helpful rather than obnoxious, did you know that? Or would that not be in your nature to be helpful 🤣
