@@musicaltheatrewriterguy In my case, I had planned all the songs that would go into the musical, but my teacher thinks the musical is too long…

@@SamNijssen0410 There's no way to tell anything for sure in the planning stage, but it sounds like it's something to keep an eye on as you write your first draft. You can always cut things when they start to feel too long or unnecessary!

This is useful advice, but my problem is, how do I FIND the structure of my story? I have some plot points, but not really the scenes and points between them. Any tips or resources?

Like I said, I know some of the scenes, but I'm sort of drawing a big blank in between those scenes... I don't quite know how to tie them together. Lack of imagination currently, I guess. Also, I'm a bit daunted at the whole thing.
