I know everyone hates Swifties but can I just say, Taylor removing her music from Spotify helped thousands of smaller artists with earning money, in 2014, Spotify barely paid bills, and when Spotify increased earnings many people profited for the better. Also imagine spending FIFTEEN years of your life only for your work to get sold, she originally wanted to buy her work, and she couldn't. It is OKAY to not listen to Taylor or particularly love her, but just thought I'd add this.

Yes! Bad examples used here. If you want to make an argument for her greed the endless vinyl variants, the endless merch, etc are good examples. I, and many fans, agree on that. However, the stuff about royalties and masters and fair pay isn’t. She re-recorded her music to gain the masters, not more money. And the stuff with Spotify has positive effects for smaller artists, not just her.
