If you wanted to be ridiculously accurate: 1. Help your older brother move an old fridge to a thrift store and have him buy an old Kay hollow body as payment 2. Cover the top of the guitar with parchment paper to avoid feedback or something 3. Get your Digitech Whammy out and set it for octave down 4. Start calling your ex wife your sister 5. Whack the fretboard with your slide to count in and whip your sweaty hair around 6. Rock out, and magically switch your whammy to the octave up position mid solo 7. Do this all inside ancient Persian amphitheater to recorded direct to clay tablet

Ok, so... I JUST stumbled on to your video 7 levels of Smells Like Teen Spirit. After seeing that you have picked up on such fine details in Kurt's technique I thought, "Oh, he HAS to have some Jack White here if he can pick up on such fine nuances." Low and behold there's this video from EIGHT hours ago! I thought these were old videos. Very pleasantly surprised. I love when people are able to understand the wonder of non-traditional technique. We get a huge bonus and have someone break it down for us. Good work, keep it up.

But if you want to get REALLY crazy and accurate, here's how you do it: Help your older brother move a fridge to get a lay hollowbody guitar then put some sort of parchment or whatever on it, then get a MXR micro Amp, a big muff pi fuzz, and a whammy gen4 down an Octave and play it with the kay on open A tuning, played through a Twin 2 Reverb guitar Amp. And add your own swings here and there to it to be accurate for how he plays it.

Love the video! Big Jack White fan here and yes he does indeed play it in Open A. One thing you forgot to mention is that when Jack finishes the chorus riff (the C D C B part) he often hits the low E string on the 4th beat of that bar. I think you were just hitting the open strings but you get the idea. Keep up the good work! I’d suggest seven levels of Back in Black next.
