I'm a music and musician fan. I'm a novice, though when it comes to trying to understand the technicalities of playing an instrument......THAT SAID, I had front row tickets to an Aerosmith concert Halloween 1987 and at the end of the show Joey Kramer gave out his drum sticks I was able to get one, I know Joey Kramer is not in the upper echelons of the drumming world but I noticed he had the narrower end of the stick taped up for his grip and used the blunt end for playing.

I grew up in the '70s, and Black Sabbath was one of my favorite bands (and the Ozzy era is still one of my all-time favorites). There was so much awesome music created during the '70s (I consider it the best era for music), but honestly, when you're living through it, you love it, but don't really appreciate it, because it just seems "normal" at the time. Only in retrospect can you appreciate how lucky you were to experience it while it was happening.

I was alive when this song was made, when I heard it originally it made perfect sense. I was pretty young but I also am the guy that organized a student walkout/protest to fight the school's decision to stop us from leaving the campus at lunchtime.

Young man you are in for a treat. This is Sabbath's war protest song. Pay special attention to Bill Ward on the drums. He beats his kit like they owe money!! I drink my coffee black also. Way back in the 1970's I had the honor of seeing them perform! It was amazingly good. It was non-stop from start to finish. They did not pause between songs. They would play the last note to a song and move directly into the next song. NON stop... At one point everyone left the stage for a short break. Ward continued to play. I wonder if he had chemical help!!! After a bit the other three returned. AND they continued to daze us! One of the best concerts I ever went to.. With out a doubt!!!!! Did you know that Tony on lead guitar had a serious injury to the fingertips of his right hand. He uses fingertip extensions. The 1970's were a lot of fun.. I graduated high school in 1973. This was the soundtrack to my early adulthood. I am so damn lucky!!!!

The guitarist, Tommy Iommi, cut the tips off his middle and ring fingers in a factory accident, at the age of 17..Docs told him he wouldn't play guitar again. I strongly encourage you to read about what he did instead..Great story!..A bit lengthy for here..BS was my very first concert. I was 14. I sat right on the edge of the stage the entire concert about 10 feet from Ozzy. That was 52 yrs. ago. It was a good time..Btw...Yes indeed, the 70's was an extremely wild time!

Hey man, my first time on your channel. I had the honor of seeing Sabbath in concert in the mid-1970's. They put on one-hell of a show. They would play the last note of a song AND start the next song, non-stop. A few factoids for you Tony the lead guitar man injured the fingertips of his right hand. His fret hand, yet he can still do this!!! At one point, everyone left the stage except Mr. Bill Ward the drummer. He continued to play away. After a bit, Ozzie, Tony, and Geezer came back on stage. And they crushed it!!!!! Damn fine concert!!!!........... Bill Ward beats his drums like they owe him money.. I hope you liked it.................................................... Sabbath set the standard in this style of music. Many followed, but there is only one Black Sabbath.!!! May I suggest you locate and watch NIB also by Sabbath. You will know you have the correct one if there is a big full moon at the start. I think you will enjoy it also!!!!! I love your enthusiasm my man! I WAS THERE and lived through it! I bought Sabbaths 1st Album when it came out in 1970, and have followed them passionately ever since - although I must say I preferred their original line-up (along with Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep purple etc etc. I also saw them live a couple of times too! You are right, it was a fabulous time for blues, ‘Heavy rock (although it was not originally identified as such!) and for music generally! Sabbaths drummer, Bill Ward was, in my opinion very UNDERRATED amongst rock drummers and as you saw, he was a ‘beast’ and held Sabbath retinue of music together. Keep listening, brother. You’ll not be disappointed! I am 72 years old and I still LOVE my music and still have my original vinyl records - and it never ceases to uplift my spirit!!!

Yes, two microphones, with two microphones. There is a way of making it so the other instruments don’t bleed through the vocal mic, only the voice comes through the mic, not the instruments to keep the sound cleaner.
