if the bench can be consistent with scoring, probly the best team in the nba.
@DeHave3 ай бұрын
I totally agree that the bench needs to be really good to win. If the on/off numbers for Embiid look like they’ve looked for the past few years, we’re in trouble! Thanks for the input 🙏🏻

I’m excited for Ricky Council
@DeHave3 ай бұрын
Me too I really hope he gets some consistent minutes off of the bench! Unfortunately I think the Sixers will be concerned about his 3pt shooting. I know his percentage was solid last season but I think he may be inconsistent and as a wing you kinda have to be decent at that to stay on the floor unfortunately! I really hope I’m wrong because he’s so fun to watch and I love his competitiveness. 🙏🏻

Love it. The only issue sadly is the best player to join. Paul George. He’s known as a choke artist. Hit side of the backboard when pressure is on. He just chokes on the playoffs. And then makes excuses. He’s had too many choke performances followed up by excuses for my taste. If this team will win a title it will be because of maxey. Not playoff Paul lol. Not Embiid who’s also a choke artist. It’s Tyrese Maxey time.

Bring back Cam Payne and Maurice Morris!

Why does everyone keep saying Caleb Martin is going to be a PF 😂 Caleb Martin will be our starting 2 guard. He’s 6’5 with length and can facilitate a bit. 1. Maxey 2. C. Martin 3. PG 4. KJ Martin 5. Embiid Oubre will backup PG and Council and E Gordon will fight for the backup 2 spot.
@MikeW_is_entertained3 ай бұрын
Caleb played SF/PF 60/40 with the Heat. Never played SG. Btw… KJ is 6’6” 215 so he doesn’t exactly fit the profile either. KJ is more of a SF. KJ wingspan 6’7.25 Caleb wingspan 6’10 For reference: A more traditional sized PF, Marcus Morris height is 6’8 with a wingspan of 6’10”
@TheSyndicate093 ай бұрын
@@MikeW_is_entertained yes KJ isn’t your prototypical sized PF. However his skill set isn’t that of 2 or 3. He’s best utilized in the dunkers spot. Think of an undersized Aaron Gordon. Can’t shoot well, can’t really create his own shot but he can rebound well and is super athletic. KJ will play the 4 if we keep him. Caleb played PF for Miami because that’s what their roster called for. In Philly he can be the big guard next to Maxey, and guard your tougher backcourt matchup. Ideally for the 76ers Caleb will play the 2 and guard 2’s and 3’s
@csax423 ай бұрын
he’s literally our starting pf dude
@TheSyndicate093 ай бұрын
@@csax42 if he’s our starting 4 the whole season we are cooked. Hopefully we make some moves and caleb can be our starting two where he belongs.
@TheSyndicate093 ай бұрын
@@MikeW_is_entertained that’s incorrect. Last year 66% of his possessions were at the SG position. You can’t just make stuff up! 😂😭

Do we have anything in the minor leagues? The team from Delaware?
@DeHave3 ай бұрын
Actually yes. The summer league is currently happening and yesterday was the first game. I really like Jeff Dowtin Jr. as a guard off the bench. I think he’ll make the team for sure (unless anything changes) the two draft picks should make the team as well as Ricky Council! I also think there’s an outside shot of rookie forward Justin Edwards making the team but he’s certainly not ready to play. I think he’ll most likely end up in Delaware but definitely has some future upside! There are some other interesting players but for me personally those are the guys to watch! Hope this helps! 🙏🏻

@@DeHave Excellent. As long as we’re developing something.
@DeHave3 ай бұрын
100! Yeah our development has been lackluster and honestly incompetent over the past few years outside of Tyrese Maxey and maybe Paul Reed. One that still haunts me is Isaiah Joe leaving for nothing and basically becoming core member of OKC. But I think Morey has done much better the past year or two in particular, not saying we’re San Antonio but I have seen much improvement in the last couple years. 🙏🏻

The squad still has a bit of the Phoenix top-heaviness about it… Big 3 plus Allen/O’Neal/Gordon v Big 3 plus Oubre/Martin/Gordon Admittedly Philly’s Big 3 fit together better but they also have the potential to miss more games through injury I don’t know man, it might look great in spurts but I think Morey needs another offseason and/or trade deadline to build depth 🤷♂️
@DunningKrugerJnr3 ай бұрын
He’s a smart GM though so you’re right to believe in the direction, just maybe give it some time to come together 😎
@DeHave3 ай бұрын
I agree there currently are depth issues but I also think as you mentioned our pieces fit much better than phoenix. The role players are also much better, while they may be fewer. Not to mention Jarad McCain. Let’s also not forget the offseason isn’t over yet, I expect a few more veteran minimums to be signed within the next few weeks. They also have about 5 tradable first round picks if they wanna go crazy. Also Embiid is better than anyone on the suns, not really debatable. Better coach, better pieces that fit together naturally and overall better talent. I hear you, but disagree with the phoenix example.
