Obviously, as a gamer, this stuff is very fulfilling. But as a jazz musician myself, these arrangements are so tasty. You've actually been able to create something that stands on its own as a brilliant musical interpretation of existing works. A lot of groups will make adaptations of video game music that are good, but too much of my enjoyment of the track relies on nostalgia and the original work itself. But Charlie, you are one of the few arrangers who consistently creates something that stands on its own, and tickles the musician part of my brain (and specifically that jazz section, mm mm mmmmm) without having to access my prior associated memories with this music. And I've even been introduced to some great pieces through you from games I've never played, and sometimes, I like your version better! Hats off to you, good sir.
