The 8 Conditions Of Hijab
1- It should cover the entire body, excluding the hands and face, according to some scholars. Otherwise, the recommended option is to cover the hands and face.
2- It must be wide and loose, not showing the size of her limbs or the shape of her body.
3- It should not be thin, showing the colour of her skin.
4- It should not be an adornment in and of itself, such as clothing decorated with embroidery.
5- It should not be perfumed.
6- It should not resemble the clothing of men.
7- It should not resemble the dress of disbelieving women.
8- It should not be a dress of fame.

Yes but the face is not Awrah Therefore if you cover it you will get a good deed but no sin will be recorded for you if you don’t same with the hands. Scholars have different opinions on whether the feet are awrah as a bare minimum your footwear and nails of the feet shouldn’t be adorned e.g no nail polish shining of the nails or footwear that makes the foot look more attractive. And foot jewellery toe rings etc that’s the bare minimum and if you cover your foot which is most likely in the winter or especially in the summer you may get a greater reward for that.

Salam aleikum sister! Hijab is a symbol of islam, so yes, of course it attracts the interest of people, but what's matter is that when you wear it properly , with modesty and simplicity ( without show your beauty) you send to other people, and specifically to the other gender a message like: " you can't joke with me" or " i will not sell my body for free". Women, as Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) created are like pearls, they open theirselves only with worthy people. We are beautiful and special and the moment you understand that , you know the hijab is way given to us to protect us. Don't worry about people that judge you, you are on the right way, not them. When the order to put hijab descended at the time of Medina, was because of people who used to see in inappropriate way women. So at that time everyone covered themselves immediately. The problem today ,in my opinion, is that we don't feel our preciousness, we should know that really men want us, but it's up to us to decide who is really worthy to see us.

So to wear niqab may attract attention but not lust. Niqab is actually ordered to be worn because khimaar in arabic is a long covering over the head. Before it was worn backwards then the order of Allah came to throw it over the front aswell. So the correct niqab is similar to the yemeni, filastini, somali style completely covered. ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ , I’m a niqabi in a northern white English town. From the Qur’an and Sunnah, and putting common sense with them, I believed it fardh to cover my face, and I felt peace when I did so. With the evidences of course. The attraction that is being talked about is pertaining to the beauty of a woman, not her noticibility. The Arabic word for beautifying oneself outwardly where it is not permissible to show your beauty is called tabarruj. Even if I were to uncover my face and hands, being in an abaya and khimar, I still stand out, the attention attracted is not feelings of desire, but people’s general curiosity - this is still a kafir-dominated place after all. Despite this, there is no permissibility to remove your cover no matter where you live.

This is for the women hijab is the whole body I don't know were this stupid concept came it's just the hair came from. Looking like a Muslim is a big statement to the kuffar as it should be. I came into Islam for this reason for the haya of Islam the modesty of Islam and I am in love and feel in love with all of this. I don't care what the kuffar say as it's my business what I wear we have to be strong and not scared we should fear Allah only not the kuffar. Hijab or the jilbab is a blessing for us women. The niqab is also but I won't ever force a woman to wear it as that's between her and Allah and no one should force her as well as long as she is wearing the abaya and jilbab or hijab and its covering the part's thats should be covered and as long as she is not wearing make up outside the house for men to see and I say Alhumduillah.

Yes they did because they are an example of excellence, but it’s not sinful to not cover the face. Everyone’s imaan is not the same. If Allah is merciful who are we to be strict and hard on others. It’s due to Allahs infinite mercy that there is no sin if you don’t cover the face and feet. In hot weathers it would cause unnecessary suffering and anguish.

No it’s not a fardh act a if you leave a faridh a sin is recorded for you. The face is not awrah same with the hands and in some madhabs the feet. Therefore if you leave it uncovered there is no sin upon you. I repeat no sin is recorded on the record of deeds. I won’t impose restrictions on myself that Allah himself hasn’t imposed and make the lawful haram. There are condition for this obviously make up is not allowed any kind of adornment is not allowed etc

I have a question about shirt and pants, if I am working out or going to work can I wear them? I want to become a nurse and will have to wear loose scrubs as well, is this okay? I live in America for context. If my shirt goes down to my mid thigh and the pants are loose fitting is this okay? I understand the principle is to not imitate men, a lot of women in my community dress the same way with shirt and pants (modest and loose ofc) can I wear this too?

I believe that since it is for work and it is a matter of safety and efficacy for you and your patients, then yes, it should be fine so long as your intent for modesty is there. But at the same time, you should bring said clothes with you and change in the locker rooms, changing rooms, or bathroom (depending on what is available and preferable to you) when you arrive to work, so that way....your commute is in your "normal" outside attire.

...I am.a non hijabi because I have extremely sensitive skin. I can only use cotton and linen and most arbayah and scarves are ma de from synthetic fabric..I wear blouses with leggings Ng sleeves and loose pants and I love all kinds of pints and all kinds of colours..with no intention at all to attract attention of any kinds..I must wear what I'm s available and comfy for me and especially my skin...I also cannot exise my skin because it is extremely sensitive but I wear perfumes very well because I can only spray on my garment and not my skin

As a niqabi, and a former hijabi, who lived in the US, I can attest that there ARE cotton and linen hijabs and 3abayas. You can even get cotton/ linen maxi dresses. Also, prints and colors are fine so long as they are not outlandish and eye catching. Even perfume on your clothes is not allowed when outdoors, so be careful since every person who smells it counts as a sin for you.
