Philodendron Hederaceum is alomost as good as Golden Pothos with low light. I have a both of them in a low light spot right beside each other for many years and they do just fine. they are best friends.

ah yes so true! I have an early video of my Philo Hederaceum that almost died (over watered) which is now growing again so good idea I might put that next to my golden pathos. thanks for the tip! ☺️

Great info and finally a youtuber that doesn't say the word "like" incessantly. Keep up the great work!
@LeafyLovinАй бұрын
@@simontowart2225 aww thank you! And I actually said ‘like’ in a brief conversation the other day and I cringed at myself! Full eye roll 😆 haha. Prefer not to use filler words if I can. Thanks for your comment!

TY bc yes this is notorious. Have a dark hallway? Put ___ plant in it! Then wonder why it looks like that. I recently read where "tolerate" should be read instead as "if you MUST, but I don't prefer it..." as opposed to "I'm ok with it, it's fine" Makes sense to me. Like people. Would you tolerate being stuck in a dark closet your whole life? 😊
@LeafyLovinАй бұрын
Yes yes yes EXACTLY! ☺🙏 while some plants are ok with it, they prefer more light! And you’re right people then wonder why the plant just looks a bit dull 🙃 hopefully this vid helps a little understanding the difference. 💚💪💚

My favorite of these is the Peace lily. I have a very large Domino Peace lily that I have had for over four years, but it does live in medium light. I love this plant.

YAASS!! Excellent choice! One of my favs too! I love the Domino but it reverted for me (as I left it outside through winter! oops! 😬 wasn't happy!). My fav is currently the Picasso, but even the large leaves of the original green are just beautiful. Im planning to do a Peace Lily vid soon so look out for that and let me know what you think! 🥰

Another video full of useful information. I love the maidenhair fern but have never had any luck with it..I used to keep it in the bathroom for some humidity but still didn’t work. Question: can I grow snake plant in Leca?
@LeafyLovin2 ай бұрын
Yes Im sure you can grow snake plants in LECA if you would like! I would just be very cautious to not let the thick rhizomes sit directly in the water reservoir at the base, and only the roots into the water reservoir. But to be honest, if it were me I would stick to cactus mix unless youre an expert in leca for that one! ☺Good luck!

I grow several varieties of fern. But the Maidenhair fern is my nemesis. I have been trying to grow it successfully for decades. I refuse to give up!
@LeafyLovin2 ай бұрын
@@Paula-sw2tt yes I am EXACTY the same! ive tried maidenhair once before and it went ok for a while but suffered over winter. And im more of an under-water-er which isnt the best for maidenhairs. But won't give up! If you finally get the gist of it pls do share any tips! :)
