DAVE KNOWS that while one wrestling title is good, eight wrestling championships is even better. So let's reexamine and remember the glorious wonder that is the J Crown!

NJPW, PWG, ROH, WCPW, ICW, CZW etc should all take a title, break up the main plate into equal pieces, all have their own piece each on a respective title and have members of each promotion try and complete the title for their brand by winning the other brands titles and taking their pieces. More pieces the better. If that story went on for a few years, the eventual match where there was only one match left to unite them all would be huge!

I created my own J-Crown in WWE 2k18. It's the R-Crown. The R-Crown is the IWGP, CZW, NWA, WWE, TNA, CMLL, AAA, ROH, WCW, WWWF, ECW, LU and IWA. My R-Crown is 13 World Heavyweight Championships from 13 promotions.

Cool vid. Hmm, so when Vince was mad about Medusa dropping his woman's belt in the trash. He forgot that U.D. had his light weight belt on tv. lol. Cool vid. Kind of Cool to see Ayako Hamada's Dad with the belt. I have only seen Gran Hamada wrestle when he teamed with his daughter Ayako in Arson when they had a mix tag against Faby Apache and her dad Gran Apache. I saw this on DVD or a VHS tape. years ago. Back on topic. I liked Ultimo Dragon in WCW and he was fun to use in WCW/ NWO revenge for the N 64. Seems like a very cool curser weight belt idea. Was this or the triple crown champion ship Vader held in Japan created first? Once again cool vid. Can't wait to see your next vid.

I swear I thought back then they just had a bunch of random belts they gave Ultimo Dragon and BOOM J CROWN Champion back then lol I couldn't wrap my head around how someone could defend all those titles and still keep.the WCW schedule at least once a month? How in the heck did Eric Bischoff not know a wrestler of his had a WWF title that fell through the cracks when Vince Sr sold it to Vince Knowing him I'd think he have mentioned that on tv like Paul Heyman did after Brock Lesnar beat the streak just to make Vince look bad.
@DaveKnowsWrestling7 жыл бұрын
Good point, although he might have been a bit worried because WCW's legal team was on him about things like that after the Medusa incident
@arthurprior34947 жыл бұрын
I bet Ted Turner's money behind him he'd risk it
@DaveKnowsWrestling7 жыл бұрын
That was the thing. Reports claim that WCW's Legal Team was willing to fire Bischoff at this time if he did anything like that on WCW TV. Turner's team was who was against it. This is also why Bret bringing the WWF title on WCW was never even a possibility

I got mine through Highspots. Can’t remember if it was a VHS or DVD rip! I’ll see if I can find my copy to see.

wait wait.. so are you telling me WWE didnt realize Ultimo Dragon had the WWF light heavyweight belt on TV during the monday night wars?! They didnt reclaim it until after Ultimo...
@DaveKnowsWrestling4 жыл бұрын
This seriously is one of the most humorously embarrassing things in WWE history. At least that how it seems they view it. Unlike other shameful moments, like Katie Vick for example, WWE will casual reference their screw ups at times. But they eradicated the lineage of this original title and brought a new light heavyweight title in just to cover up the existence of the first. Then they merged that belt with the cruiserweight title.
@craigstrachan5 жыл бұрын
That was pretty cool to break down all the titles that were in the J-Crown as i do remember watching a few matches off of WCW where Ultimo Dragon held that title .Have that match with Gedo and Chris Jericho when they fought to crown the WAR International Jr. Heavyweight Champion plus have a few matches with Jericho as champion defending that title against Ultimo Dragon . Remember watching a few matches from the 80's where the WWF Jr. Heavyweight Title was defended .Believe it was The Cobra against Black Tiger though be wrong . Can only imagine how much of a pain it would have been to carry those titles through customs in airports .Problably would needed at least 3 suitcases to carry all those belts . LMFAO! Since we are on this subject do you think that a title like this could be done again or would the politics between wrestling companies be too great to do such . Peace and outta here .
@DaveKnowsWrestling5 жыл бұрын
I would love if a title like this could be done again. And while WWE would probably never go for it, I think ROH or NJPW could def get it done
@craigstrachan5 жыл бұрын
@@DaveKnowsWrestling Well considering that both do talent exchanges and have that ppv by ROH War Of The Worlds not to mention that huge MSG show next month with both companies being featured it's not a completely crazy idea for them to do such . Think if ROH was to create a Jr.Heavyweight Title and unify it with NJPW think of the matchups that could be done . I have seen that there will be the ROH Vs NJPW Tag Team Title Match with The Briscoes Vs G.O.D. which imo will be a show stealer . 1 can only hope .

Unfortunately the way wrestling promotions and members of the fanbase treat other weight classes outside heavyweight is a sign that parts of industry is still stuck in the past because they view anyone who wins a heavyweight title be it NWA, WWE, IWGP or whatever makes you the top star, combat sports like Boxing or MMA would anyone who's a big money maker as the top star regardless of weight class, the biggest names in Boxing in the last few years were Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquio, while the biggest name in MMA right now is Connor McGregor and before that it was Anderson Silva several years earlier and both fighters fought in weight classes below heavyweight. The only part of the world that's an exception is Mexico but that's because it was the opposite as lighter classes were more popular than Heavyweight. Come to think of it you can make a Monday Night Wrong video out of this idea to coincide with the upcoming McGregor vs Khalid fight at UFC 229.

now that I know what the j crown is, the whole 10 title at one time thing seems less impressive. I know it's silly since pro wrestling is pre-determined, and literally anyone could hold 10 titles if the companies cooperate/make enough titles. but still, if 8 of those 10 titles were all won in the same match, it's just no really the same...
@DaveKnowsWrestling6 жыл бұрын
May not be the same, but it is an accomplishment unto itself
@kradrol6 жыл бұрын
the initial tournament win certainly is, as every participant would be a champion. but after that, the j crown was defended as one giant title. (except for the war belt, for some reason.) but even if we do consider it as 1 belt instead of 7, he means ultimo dragon still had 3 different titles, from 3 different companies, at the same time. and that is definitely an accomplishment unto itself. still very impressive, but nearly as legendary as it seemed when I first saw him walk down to the ring with all those belts.
