Hot dropping in this conditions is a nightmare. Following me around. He takes same guns, bats,... I said to him a hundred times "if you want me to carry, don't take my stuff". As soon as I res him, he loots. As soon as I kill somebody he loots. I can't bro!!! In the middle of the fight I never have shields swaps. He takes everything. This guy rarely kills someone and I kinda feel sorry for him. Boy he makes me rage! I'm not toxic at all... And I'm always sharing resources. Doing what's best for the team. But this guy is just selfish.

I'm a ping-master too and I also like the ping system in this game, because my micro works only in Discord and I can't say anything in voice chat. BTW, you never know if your teammate needs light ammo/mozambick/med kit, so I often ping all the staff, that can be useful for my teammates

You forgot one crucial detail about the TTV. If they have practiced anything in the game the most, its how to leave the game as soon as humanly possible. This means that the microsecond they are downed, or if they are about to be downed, they WILL leave the match with maximum efficiency and velocity.

The thing that pisses me off so much about loot goblins on drop is that they'll take 2 guns in front of you before you can get 1, be the only teammate with a weapon and still push a team alone. Like i can fast loot but if the luck is bad you should not take 2 guns in front of your teammate that has none then immediately push and expect to win, gimme a p2020 at least for god sake. Worst is the attitude "well you're just not good enough to get a weapon fast" bruh we're on the same team unless you can 3v1 all the time u gotta give your teammates a gun at the start, to fight that first fight if you landed in a shallow loot zone.

I will have to completely admit that I’m a loot goblin because one of my hardest lessons with this game was that you need to loot fast because you can’t always count on being able to loot again before you’re in the last fight. I usually have a lot of stuff and have only recently started carrying nades to be more polite lol. You gotta know what your flaws/toxic traits are and address them in life lol. I am a master at clearing out a death box and I can’t expect everyone else to loot as quickly as I can. So if I didn’t kill someone, I try to be the last one to touch the box unless I’m genuinely desperate. After I do touch that box, if you ping that you need something I will do my best to drop what you need. I tend to be stingy with ammo when I have less than 2 stacks of each weapon, but I will drop heals like a mf. You can have half of my bats, shields, meds. This made me a great lifeline when I used to main her. I don’t typically play octane because of the sheer fact that I am a soulless monster with fast looting. After watching more of this, I’m also a little bit of a public enemy #1. Just a tad bit. More of a menace who throws a holospray rather than tea bagging.

Nah looting quickly is literally an indication of a good player, it's a high paced battle royal with a meta built around 3rd partying, if you can't loot quickly you literally won't be good at the game

If people complain about not getting loot of drop it's their own fault, I used to do the same then I watched videos and learnt how to get good at the game, land somewhere familiar, go for ground loot so you can see the gun you're about to grab, if you and your team are looting the same area move to a different area so you don't take each other's loot I watch nokokopuffs ranked guides, one of the very first things he teaches is looting quickly and that's to bronze level players, if you can't loot quickly you're literally worse than bronze

On drop I tend to loot fast and I loot everything in sight. If I have it, the enemy can't have it. If I pick that shotgun ammo for my dual SMGs, that only means the enemy doesn't have any extra ammo for their Mozambique. But once the first fight is done or we start rotating to the next poi, the stuff gets sorted. The guy with the flatline finally gets the heavy mag, checking that not everyone is running dual light ammo, I don't really need 3 white barrel stabilizers, oh, and there is a purple mag in the crafter...

I'm one of the players, who if being shot at from every angle and being stuck by 20 arc stars, would still be reviving their teammate. Anything for that feeling of hope just to be abruptly stopped when you were 0.1 seconds to reviving your teammate. You traverse across the map to get your teammates banner. Just to get 1v3ed on the way there. You are, indeed, a brave soldier.

Yea, shotguns. I learned how to use shotguns in firing range. Jump sliding and shooting at dummies for hours. Now I can use PK and Mastiff with ease. Try flicking or aim in the direction of enemy player wait till he comes in your crosshair. Difficult to explain but it's worth trying. Shooties are perfect for a secondary.

Simple fix for ping master. When hovering over an attachment or armor piece there should be a little man in the top right corner said loot. It means 1 of your teamates need said loot

Yeah, I tend to ping I think is useful for the team. We can see what ammo type the team is running, so pinging that lv3 shotgun barrel is a good guess when both teammates are running shotguns. Or a light mag when everyone is using light ammo. After all, how high are the chances that everyone already got a purple mag...

Nothing particular happened he was just all on that “ranked mode” from the start. “Come here come hereeeee!!!!” “Come come co... nooo wha whaaaat what are u dooooinggg” I’m D2 myself, I play ranked and extremely competitive, I can’t shut up ON RANKED... ...but PUBS ARE NOT THE PLACE TO DO THAT!!! Can you all once and for good can learn that? We all know if u are number 3 type then you are dogwater at ranked so you come to pub trying to feel like some kind of big deal but everyone knows the truth. “I dOnT LiKe RaNkEd 🤡”. Pubs are like firing range with live dummies. To grind badges, test weapons, practice weapons, explore locations, test strategies and plays, have fun with your mates all playing with no guns NOT TO SWEAT UR ASS OFF. So many times I had conversation with people complaining about team mates and I go what’s your rank and they go “I don’t play ranked”. My fist just folds instantly and I wanna electrocute the guy. So wait you complain about the team mates... in pub games?... PUB GAMES?! I don’t even care and forgot that my team mates exist in pub games and that’s how it should be cos then when I’m all warmed up sweaty and ready I go to play with people that also are all warmed up sweaty and ready - meaning RANKED, not pub with people in bed with no headphones testing Triple Take.

IDK how you enjoy your pub matches, but personally, I have music going, use weapons and legends I'm not familiar with, hot drop reguarely, and just enjoy the more fun aspects of Apex. If I manage to make it top 3, I'll sweat for the win, but till that point, I couldn't care less. These type of people will flame you for not having optimal rotations, 3rd party every fight, getting every scout beacon, etc. to get the win in every match. I have even been grilled for not picking an optimal legend, as last pick, for the match. It just sucks the enjoyment out of the experience when every single game has to be 1st or you're last.

I had a bit of a game like that. I mean I try my best to win every match I play, but I'm not an ultra sweaty tryhard. In the end, having fun is more important than winning. But the one the other day I got damn lucky, teammates got downed I was fighting off 2 other squads while trying to get the ress done, got pathfinder back up we wiped both squads But wraith was out, so I ran back in the zone to pick the banner. By that time pathfinder was already running off and got downed again, so I went there downed another one to get the squad off his box, picked him up, ressed both while holding off another squad, well on the way to close the distance (because there was no long range gun) we finally got 3rd partied and got 6th. Was a good match. Had another one where I had to wipe a squad with p2020/charge rifle on drop.

I had literally just dropped my heavy ammo for the Lifeline who ran out of it as i was switching to the bow and would you look at that as valk runs past all the ammo magically disappears before the lifeline can take it. I am a team player/public enemy #1 I run Mirage, Lifeline, or Rampart with a Flatline and Longbow and I never fight even, I am either sniping or flanking, rarely will I fight in the open or start in your line of vision and if I got to, you best believe I doing the Mirage ult and if I go solo, I always keep high ground sniping and love watching 2 teams fight just to snipe the winner I also do prioritize reving unless Ik the enemy is very low or I have a clear shot (usually the biggest thing to make me fight in the open) and I do always swipe most heals but I distribute them out and always make sure to have some to give, I might not be the 1 with the most kills but if you can kill them, I can keep you healed, up, and crack them with the sniper as you enter

one time my teammate (a loba) is such a loot goblin even though she landed at the worst spot to loot and when i was about get a weapon and… it was gone. all i heard was the loba teleport thing and saw an empty crate

i wish the ttv one was true but instead all the games play out likes this, pick wraith, become jumpmaster, pick the spot with the most amount of people to land, die, rage quit leaving you alone and confused.

Definitely an ultimate defense with a charge rifle(I prefer the sentinel but if my aims not there I’ll grab a charge Rifle instead) , it’s not uncommon for me to have 4K damage games with 3 kills 😅but I’ll be honest I do it cause I suck at close quarters combat but man can I snipe the hell out of someone been trying to get better at CQB so I’ve been playing Maggie to run a shotgun but she’s kinda mean when she snipes, I love hitting a head shot and then drilling cover just to finish someone off

Personally, I far prefer my teammates to ping everything than spot an enemy, push, lose the 1v3, and still not tell me where anyone is.

I have to playstyles 1. When I play octane I'm the speed demon where I run in the fight stimmed guns-a-blazing, and 2. When I play rampart I wait for my ultimate and I run into enemies, shooting anything that moves.

Im a strategic Caustic who likes to lure & kill, keep track of zones plus enemies on horizon, likes to hang around covers & work around tight teamwork. And Oh , Sniping is so much Fun. Uncordinated teammates with solo hero complex, are biggest turnoffs. In Caustic's words,"I do not care who makes the kill", as long as they play for team to win. 🔥✨

The triple defenders do have quite the weakness Crypto You think your fortress is impenetrable? Crypto has an EMP that says otherwise Have fun with your seemingly impregnable defenses when the EMP hits, tell me, how does your amped cover work against grenades when the amped part is gone? How good does Wattson’s ult work once deactivated? And how good of a deterrent would deactivated gas traps be? All of those things crumble to dust in the presence of Crypto’s EMP

You forgot the player that rushes every team by themselves, gets smacked and then blames you. Or the person that gets like 1 kill and talks trash claiming they have more damage and they can beat you in a 1v1

I’m somewhere near pacifist but not nearly. I’m gonna gear up all I can but if I have a teammate that something better suits the way get it. Lifeline for gold backpack, Gibby/Maggie for shotgun attachments, many for ult accels, and things of the like. I tend to wait until we are kitted to want to fight. You’re guaranteed a fight a match at a chance of at least a couple KP. Until I get past diamond that’s good enough for me.

I'm the long range data gatherer my main concern is sniper/ marksman and good optics to let you know the characters their shields and how many people their fighting crucial information from far away

I'm a combo of some Lands with team but always seeking action so I go solo but never gets killed. I will respawn you everytime. I always use finishers in middle of killing several teams to get my shields charged. Yes, I'm a BH main.

ALG hit mad hard, I give as best coms possible but hardly gets over 3 kills and 600 damage, the only difference is that I actually hotdrop cause that’s when I rapid fire coms

In public lobbies I queued with a loot goblin, they had to PUNCH me away just so they could keep the loot. So when they died i took everything from their death box and they rage quit (it was a wraith)

Wouldn't really fall into on category. Part pacifist because I've only been playing for like 2 weeks and want to be in a game for longer than it takes for a match to start. I also make a conscious effort to only ping things that are relevant, purples I'm not taking, armor if I see a teammate can use an upgrade, enemy landing zones nearby, and the like. However I try to not over do it and spamming a pings is just a D-bag move. I do tend to either die first or show up late to the fight. Usually due to unfamiliarity with maps and finding a weapon before the fighting begins. All things considered, if I try to be a better teammate, it should help me learn to play better.

That's less of a pacifist and more of a conscious observer. Don't have to fight everything that moves or drop into fragment each match trying to fistfight 5 other squads. So not really a pacifist or a ping master but more a smart decider. How good is rushing into a fight if you don't even have a gun. How good is starting a long range fight if you have a r99 and pk and the other team is running triple sniper. Plus, if you show up late, you can be the one to clutch the fight.
