You Gentiles, who are full of impurity and disobedience! Thank you so much for all of the Documentaries that you're posting but especially for this Series I'm such a huge History Buff & i think that this period in European History is such a crucial one because of all what happened during this Time The Reformation & the fight between the old Nobility against the King & them being Allies with the Merchants & Burgeousie It's such a turbulent violent but also exciting Time of new Ideas & Alliances that has had a huge impact on Europe as a whole Is there a Dutch Documentary about the Time of Louis XIV & William of Orange? It would be awesome if there's one because it would be a continuation of the 80 Years War I haven't seen all of the ones you already posted It's probably the ones about 1672 If you can let me know Thank you again!

Met Luther en Calvijn kwam er natuurlijk uit het Romeinse rijk minder geld naar het Vaticaan, en liet Phillip zich voor het karretje spannen voor dit, in het begin ging het redelijk goed met nieuwe belastingen enz, tot dat ook de adellijke stand die een vrijstelling hadden ook belasting moesten betalen.

Na het kijken van deze serie heb ik vraagtekens bij de productie en zeker twijfels over het geven van een eerlijk en accuraat verslag van de geschiedenis. Het is veel meer gericht op het vormen van de geschiedenis in het moderne denken waar een aantal mensen denken het nodig te vinden om meer de 'correctheid' te laten zien ipv het tonen van de historische 'werkelijkheid'. PS. Er is ook een veel uitgebreidere serie van ca. 25 uur over dit onderwerp te zien welke met ook goede humor in veel meer detail de 80 jarige oorlog wordt uitgelegd. kun je een voorbeeld geven want ik denk dat het gene dat je bedoeld gewoon een kritische blik is op sommige onderdelen waar niet iedereen altijd even kritisch op is.

Snap niet waarom hier constant gesproken word over de dood van Egmond en Hoorn, maar in het volgende verhaal ze weer levend zijn. Heel verwarrend… Simpele opbouw was beter geweest.

ik snap wat je bedoeld. het lijkt soms meer als een geschiedenisles opgezet te zijn waarbij het meer feiten over dragen is i.p.v. dat het een lopend verhaal is zoals we gewend zijn van de meeste tv series.
