I’ve been wanting to do one of those trucks for a while now. Killer build 👍. When I did a LS swap in my ‘69 Firebird in ‘04 there wasn’t near the aftermarket support for them. Some of the early swap parts weren’t quite dialed in.

Lucky Costa is putting an LT4 in a ‘90 454SS truck. If I’m not mistaken, he cut and boxed the frame to clear an accessory. LuckysGarageShow on KZbin. HotRod is where I read something about it. Maybe it will help.

Cut and re-box the frame and keep the A/C low. Don’t change that, it looks way better than running it up top. Btw, I think you should have waited to powder coat the frame until after final fitment of the engine, trans and steering rack. But either way. It’s turning out to be an awesome build

I wouldnt have trusted that first set of motor mounts with a damn 3 cylinder from a Geo Metro. Its probably best that you chnaged them anyway 👍🏻

I’d agree that having the A/C down low instead of up top would look a lot better that way your eyes go right to the supercharger only! Cut and box the frame cause you’ll regret it later if u don’t. And besides I’m sure you’ll have to wait for more parts so you can do it then. Lol. Love the build!! Great work!!!
