@@Ocktay They are guides. I've followed Sam mostly for Cyberpunk and he does an awesome job. Why wouldn't a developer pay him? For reviews why would you trust channels that cater to the hate algorithm that develops around trying to get games 'cancelled'. The more hate, the more views and interaction. That seems more unethical than a channel built on guides. Even the worst game can benefit from a guide.

As far as I can tell, they don't like it not because of it being fun but it being "WOKE." Especially the sexual choices. Smh it's a shame they can't see past that and just play the dang game. And I agree. My mage spellblade build is a particle fiesta monster! And im still leveling it up! Fun game most definitely

For the Reaper, the explosive shield throw is honestly detrimental to use on groups as it prevents the shield from bouncing between targets, but it does seem to do really good stagger against bosses and tougher enemies. I do wish the shield throw charged up a little bit faster, im not currently aware of anything that speeds it up

Hi, Im wondering if its possible to deal both damage like necrotic, fire and (don't know if possible bleeding damage as mage) and use Beam did all those damage apply so i don't realy lose damage when hiting both armor, barrier and life so i can have a Beam build that not just deal insane damage against only 1 type of damage but all rounder ?

My game breaking build for the 2nd hardest game setting is mage specialized in evoker. The evoker spell which can aoe control, damage and debuff is game breaking. You can easily extend the spell area by 200% which basically cover most of encounter space. So all the mobs cannot attack you, getting 7000 plus damage and get weaken debuff. There is a quest head gear can reduce skill cold down by 50% by denodation, and the Darion can also reduce his cooldown by 50%, so Darion can constantly denodation without CD, which means the boss can by controlled 100% time. There is a ring buff area spells can recharge your mana to full with every evoker spell. In sum, this build can control all mobs 100% time including boss to not attack you, and your companion Darion can denodation continuously without cold down. What else do you want?

All this "woke" whining sounds like Fox News when they were going all "Think of the children!!" because Mass Effect had extremely tame sex scenes with a blue alien. @@davidpeters6743 yup I’m about 20+ hrs in now. I will be honest it’s sitting at about a 7 for me overall. I’m actually enjoying the combat itself, though it’s nothing groundbreaking it is entertaining enough. The environment sets are breathtaking even if the character art isn’t my favorite. Story dialog is great. Party banter and interactions in the Lighthouse is lacking though. Things are a bit too bright and cheery for a typical DA environment and those who want to play evil or the “Renegade” will be disappointed as they clearly are pushing for you to play the hero so dialog options and their responses are meant for hero and comedic options. Music is average the variety of enemies is a bit lackluster but still fun to fight for the most part. If you haven’t played yet I will point out there is a point a few hours in at the begining where they give you an option to make the game heavily include gender issues, lgbtq issues etc and make those talking points a subject of Priority to appear in dialog options should you wish to or you can chose to not engage entirely with that subject matter and I thought that was rather a neat little option to include though I know it will get a ton of hate in later reviews by the chuds. Don’t let them mislead you. It isn’t forced they just give you the option to include it going forward should they be topics you wish to engage in during you play through. TL;DR: the game is overall average for me, not the train wreck people are making it out to be, but nothing to write home about as far as a Dragon Age game goes.

How many Fextra build guides for a game have you watched where Fextra rates gameplay or how good or bad graphics looks when talking about an Elden Ring build for example? You ever see them rate the game while telling you what Talismans are best for a given build? No? Then why would you expect this from Sam?

I have to admit the reaper thematically doesn’t seem to be very good to me. I wish it was all green instead of gold with necrotic particle effects. It’s just contradicts the respective palettes. I wonder if further investment will change those ability animations. That would be cool because adaptive abilities are always so fun and creative to play with.

@chrisperry4014 still super weird to have a reaper focused around a shield? Usually, they have a dual handed weapon like a sword or scythe, are all green and have like an alternate powerful form. Idk, really disappointing. Same happens with the death mage, doesn't look like a necromancer at all

@ I thought it was the two handed class like slayer is supposed to be but apparently not. Unfortunately the two specs of warrior that aren’t warden are very disjointed in terms of theme, but still powerful and cool on their own.

Out of curiosity, did EA come to you asking for this video in particular or did they just ask you to make a video? Cause i never really thought of game companies giving out early access codes to people for videos in their own niche and not just pure reviews before. Looking forward to seeing a deeper dive into the classes either way. Evoker Mage, Champion Warrior, and Duelist Rogue all seem really interesting to me from previous videos ive seen.

One of my favorite Cyberpunk 2077 KZbinrs doing content for Dragon Age?!! I'm in! The game is great and feels like the best merging of all three Dragon Age games. They picked different parts from each game and have created one of the most polished big games we've seen in a long time. And Bioware finally NAILED the combat in Dragon Age. I can't stop playing! "Fortnite graphics!" "Humor in my fantasy oh no!" I guess y'all also passed on the fantastic Divinity: Original Sin games made by Larian Studios then. I really can't stand how people want to LIMIT RPG games these days when that narrow view is the total opposite of what RPGs have been and always will be. Ignore all the haters which I'm sure you're well practiced in after being a huge fan of Cyberpunk! Even Digital Foundry was getting brigaded for posting a PURELY TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN of the game and they were glowing in their TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN so the chuds had to come crawling out of mama's basement encrusted in Cheetos dust, slathered in days of not showering stink and reeking of spilled piss jars.

Too early to tell. But I’ve been playing for a few hours now and the description for the heavy weapon switch seems to only say Hammers and Axes, so I’m assuming there aren’t any Greatswords. There might be special ones or maybe a unique one but I’m doubting it.

I'm not sure your thoughts on early mage quite line up to gameplay. I beat my first play through with a spellblade, and I found the dagger and orb better to hordes and groups, while the staff was better for single target, which is the inverse of your thoughts. Especially Dragons, where fighting them is often at distance, the staff was the only way to go, though once I staggered them I would switch back to dagger and orb.

Great video and editing!!! Personally, I have been stuck on this game, however…inquisition was better feeling for all classes imo. The crafting of weapons and armor to ur desired perks and skills made it perfect. This game leaned too far into builds that lock us into limits. I am a rogue crow but hate to have to use necrotic only. Inquisition, I had dragon fire and ice and necrotic daggers and armor to weapons to give me health on critical hits and kills. Overall, decent game, kinda went backwards from where they were story wise, so 7 outta 10 for Dragon Age.

Whole lot of tourists in RPGs these days. Newcomers to Dragon Age are awesome and very, very welcome! Newcomers trying to tell us, people with hundreds of hours and literally over a decade experience with this series, the fourth game in a series is "quippy" and filled with "Marvel dialoge" is ABSURD. My dudes, Dragon Age had quips and humor and fourthwall breaking moments while you were still drooling and couldn't feed yourself. This has been a thing before any multi-verse Marvel movies were a thing. Hell we had three Mass Effect games (loads of humor and quips here too!) and two Dragon Age games before the first Avengers movie even came out! Not to mention two decades of action movies full of banter, quips and jokes.

@@mandu6665um no. I am playing only to finish out the series. Ill tell you why your wrong. What made origins companions amazing was a wide range of personalities. Morrigan vs lelliana sten vs allistair. All companions in this game are different looks boring personality with no conflict between any of them. Tell you what go in real life and finf a random group of 10 people to accomplish a task. Tell me how that goes. Garentee there will be personality clashes. This game does not feel like any of the others more like a happy go lucky disnsy fantasy.

They all have really in-depth combos, with each weapon type. There are jump, sprint, and parry attacks, as well as specials and heavy/light attacks and two weapon modes to switch between fluidly. These also build up another weapon stamina bar that can also empower an attack and is changed by certain traits and skills. All of them can be button spammy, but you’ll want to focus on basic/light/heavy attacks and resource regen for that spam type of build. For mage I personally enjoy orb for the fast paced and explosive gameplay.

None of the warrior classes can tank for s... not even champion you may last 2 or 3 more hits than rogue/mage, but that's it, you gotta play the tank same as other 2 classes, evading all hits as much as possible...

I don’t like how the mage specialisations are essentially fire, ice and then lightning…these were all basic spells in every other game, so they don’t feel as special compared the specialisations from previous games

The specialisations give an ultimate, one spec ability and numerous passive bonuses that change your playstyle. So for evoker for example they can use staffs better than the two other specialisations and they get more abilities for their staffs (amongst other stuff.) Basic spells for all mages to use are still there it just means the spec specialises in an elemental type. It doesn't mean you should restrict yourself to that one damage type either, enemy resistances are hefty on harder difficulties. My dualist rogue cries when I have to fight darkspawn because they resist necro lol.

I'll commment to please the algorithm gods but I hope that this isn't the future route for the channel. Apart from all the controversy it just looks like a bad game, it feels like a "Raid Shadow Legends"-type of scenario where the quality is just obvious at a glance and I really hope that the patreon and all that other stuff makes it unnecessary for you to do this type of content again in the future.

@@ShadowProject01 From what I've seen so far this supposed RPG has it's dialouge written by ChatGPT, the UI just isn't for me so I'll refrain from criticising that and the combat looks quite fun. Compared to where the whole franchise comes from it has fallen far, some of the dialogue scenes are even contradicting years of established lore for no apparent reason and the decisions actively hinder you from being a dick to anyone, some people enjoy playing evil in games (I don't). I'm sorry but for a RPG this game has a surprising lack of actual RPG elements. It's a nice Hack&Slash game but it has no substance beyond the surface. And that doesn't include how little I think of the artstyle they chose for franchise like this or the fact that the game treats you like an imbecile or little child (your choice what applies). It's quite fitting that it released on Halloween as all it's doing is wearing a Dragon Age costume.

You really think it’s immoral to promote a video game when KZbinrs have been doing it for the past 20 years and that includes raid shadow legends, wow, cod, and countless mobile games. All of these companies are so scummy, but yall choose to shit on this game because it is open and honest about what it is, and has been since BW has been publicizing this game. You just didn’t do your research on it nor did you follow any of the devstream and blogs. You aren’t a fan, never were, and no one really cared if you were anyways. Negative reviews do nothing to stop people from buying it when they are as shallow as “woke”, because that’s such bad writing and very childish and bad. Y’all can’t come up with something creative or original.

@nohaunt no, but i wouldn't want them to stuff their DEI propaganda in games. Have you listened to the dialogs? It's just juvenile. As mentioned, my friends say they have almost ignored all the lore and backstories from the previous games. Completely obliterating what the franchise stood for in exchange for adding pathetically written dialog about inclusion doesn't help anyone.

I brought it as a long time BioWare fan, it’s not great so far. Also please don’t take it so personally, it’s both an interest and a job for the channel, he has every right to publish videos about this game, or any games that might be published by corrupted publishers in the future. He is not lying about rather the game is great or not, just a build video.

Seconds into the video, we see that it's sponsored by the very game company that made the game and people are supposed to believe it's unbiased? LOL. The actual gamers with no influence from EA are giving the only valid, objective reviews available. It's just what it is, and shill game reviewers are dying out here. See for yourself.

You have to be pretty intelligent to not look at stats once so ever~! The game was the number 1 sold game on steam in multiple countries and is like in the top 5 global best sellers on steam. it also is in the top charts for BOTH consoles. You also posted this comment thinking this dude was doing a review for the game but he only made a BUILD video. The hell you mean by "only because of the things you purposely left out"

Very much so. Its only two options that allow you to make a Trans Char. Thats it, if i hadnt looked for then out of Curiosity i might as well had not seen them. Just stop consuming rage bating Videos made by very unhappy people. Its not a perfect Game, it has its flaws and some very, lets say awkward, moments but besides that its fun. And yes im dissapointed too that they abandond the dark and Gritty Theme and that you cant be a bad Person in Game. But that doesent stop me from having fun with it.
