I love the 70’s & the ‘80’s but this was my era. I was a teen in the ‘90’s & I watched Soul Train so I could learn the latest dances to go to backyard parties & as I got older to go to clubs to.

This is when I started watching soul train. But now looking back at videos on KZbin I’m obsessed with the 70s Soul Train!

These clips toward the middle and the end are after Don left so a few of these clips are not the actual audio because many of the faces for the early 90’s are not present. They’re dancing to early 90s songs but the video clips are from the mid to latter portion of the 90s post Don Cornelius. The beginning had more of the early 90s crew in the video.

was a wonderful show. Something was lost in the culture when this show was cancelled. It's like either the music declined or it was just a little less fun. This was such a positive show.

One thing I noticed about the 90s and early 2000s was seeing more non-Black folk dancing onstage 🤔

I’m old and I LOVED soul train when I was a kid. However, after watching a documentary and hearing about what an evil and twisted man Don Cornelius was off camera , I will never look at this the same way. Truly terrifying .
No, at one time dances had a name in the 90 you just dance anyway you wanted too. That what started ❤

Look, when i was 14 in the late 90s, we used the word " VIBE " a lot...we need to replace it with ANYTHING BUT FKN VIBE 😒

I stopped watching ST after Don Cornelius retired from the show. Watched a few shows afterwards here and there, but, the show didn't hold my interest any more.NOW,I'd like to see them. LOL.
