I've watched several of the former dancers stories, but Sharon's is one of the most interesting ones. I don't know if colorism much of a problem as it used to be, but it certainly had a long lasting effect on our community.

For every parent who supports and encourages their child's interests in positive ways instead of raising them in a cult that bans tv, net, radio, film, school....you have my appreciation along with tears for a better future where ALL children will be loved and encouarged. TY to this man's mother. She did very well.🙏🏾🎇

The way she said “Chicago” she said it with an actual Chicago accent. You don’t meet too many black folks from there that say it like their white counterparts.

She is STILL BEAUTIFUL 👏🏾 1:34 she was not invading the territory. She broke down barriers it’s amazing how Black can’t throw around racism, but they can’t take it

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I remember you from the 70's. I lived in Florida back then, you all taught America how to jam!!! LA became our cultural meca in those days because of Soul Train. We was dead on it every week, trying to learn how to "Lock". We adopted the line, it was just amazing. I'm so glad that your story was told, you still look marvelous :)
