That was a 6 minute roller-coaster of emotions. The memories of playing with and learning from my big brother. The memories of gaining and losing friends I grew up with. Finding and losing religion. Discovering love. Fighting or and being defended by those I heard out and helped. The laughs I had. The tears I shed. The loves that came and went. The hurt and scars I gained from growing up. I'm glad that watching a video like this brought back all those memories. I'm happy to be able to remember them all. Because being able to do so reminds me of who and why I am who I am today. To look back through my history and be able to learn from them to be a better person. If anyone catches this comment, please, be kind to one another. People can yell and scream all day about the Left and Right, or Whites and Blacks. But, at the end of each and every day, the only thing in this world that can bring us happiest and help us through any situation, is another human being. That's all we really have that will make a difference today and tomorrow. The next time you see someone on the street or in a store, just tell them "Hi! I hope you have a great day today and a better tomorrow." To just ONE person. That comment can make their day, trust me. Take Care Everyone!

I was born in November 1969. I was a teen in the 1980s and a young adult in the 1990s. I feel privileged since I enjoyed the best decades ever when I was still young. The XXI century only brought bad entertainment, bad music, political hatred, dangerous divisions in society, stupidity, and to top it all, a lethal desease. I feel very sad that it is my generation that basically rule the world today. What have we done? What have we become?

I was born in November/1969. I think it is a privilege to have been teen in the 80s and young adult in the 90s. We fully lived the two decades that represented nothing less than the peak of human civilization.

I was born in the late '80s so I got to see the '90s myself as a kid and saw a bunch of stuff that was in this video as I was growing up. There was definitely parts of this video that hit me hard. The '90 was an awesome time to live in and as a kid it felt like an optimistic, positive, and sane time era. It was after 2000 (especially after 9-11) that things felt like it was beginning to go down hill. If I was given the choice of either staying here in 2021 or going back to 1990 I think I would go back to 1990 without much hesitation.

What a beautiful film, it brings me a lot of good memories. All 90s popculture in one place. As 90s kid I always look at all this stuff with a lot of nostalgia. I remember 90s as a decade full of joy. It was so colorfull, so bright, so brilliant. People from Eastern Europe finally could celebrate their freedom fully after the collapse of the USSR. A brand new Era was born. Great film. Best wishes from Poland!

Not bad. It's hard to catch lightning in a bottle twice. Your 80's tribute is untouchable and the best 80s montage ever created. I've watched probably 50 times
@thevintagetribute3 жыл бұрын
It’s impossible to make a 90s tribute with the same feels as the 80s one because of one simple obvious reason: 90s is not 80s. Every decade has a different tone, a different vibe, a different personality, different memories. I can put 90s images with Waiting for a Star to fall but that wouldn’t work 😄. Thanks for your comment! Cheers bro!
@sonicpop3 жыл бұрын
@@thevintagetribute I completely agree that the 80s and 90s are very different decades. I just think your 80s montage was better in how well you made the transitions and made your edit choices. I can see you really took a lot of time to match the video content with the lyrics and key changes in your 80s mix. This 90s edit is really good, better than your first 90s video, and I can see you put a lot of time in this one as well. It's just that your 80s montage is not only better because of the decade, it's better in your song choice and edits. Somebody else suggested New Radicals -Get What You Give. I think you could do an amazing 90s montage with that one. It would match the positive vibes of Waiting for a Star to Fall 😁 Big fan! Keep up the great work!

Agreed for me the 80s tribute seemed to resonate much more - but its completely subjective and of course many people will prefer the 90s tribute. We can all appreciate how much work was put into to editing all these videos and capturing the iconic moments. Keep em coming!

I was born in 1981 and I am super nostalgic about the 80’s and 90’s, but the 80’s conjures up more emotions for me personally. It doesn’t matter though, we were born in the very best time to be a kid, weren’t we?

@@user-ld2qx5yw3h I was born in November 1969. Therefore I lived the 1980s as a teenager and the 1990s as a young adult. I feel privileged for that. And I tell you the 1990s were great but the 1980s had something different, something that is difficult to put in words.
