The 80 and 90s were the two best decades of my life. It seems everything went to crap after 9/11 and we culturally never got over it.

Literally the greatest decade of my lifetime. The end of a century, the uprising of technology, yet still personally connected before the advent of social media. Graduated high school in 97. What a time to be alive.

Wow, how much better were the 80s than today - better music, TV, film, strong male role models and beautiful feminine women. Take me back 😢

Ahh. Yes. Fantastic memories..from years before I was even born. I see my all time favorite dancer there too, Gene Kelly. No one even close...well.. maybe Fred Astaire but he was more classy. Gene Kelly was an dancing acrobate.

Just wanted to comment about an observation. None of the love clips feature any overweight women. I know these movies reflect Hollywood's standards of loving relationships, but it really doesn't showcase that love is more than just thin beautiful women. I'm also not naive to the fact that attractive women sell more tickets but it's sad that in some instances art doesn't imitate life. To all the different sized women, your love is just as beautiful. I was 43 when I became a widower and once you've loved and lost you realize that the physical appearance means nothing. That was 11 years ago and the next time I fall in love I won't care at all what her physical looks are because the inside is absolutely more beautiful! Just my humble opinion. Thank you for the beautiful love tribute.

Everyone here that misses the 80’s as much as I do please give the group SunCity80’s a listen. They have truly recaptured that beautiful time for us in their music. Especially with their song On My Mind.

@@gilbeau5254 With great regard -I enjoyed the song you recommended. I have a long history with post punk new wave synth-based music. Joy Division, New order, Devo etc. I listened to a 2nd with an AI video. I have experience in music promotions. IMO They shouldn't even bother telling their audience its AI. Picasso didn't share what brand of paint he used. I enjoyed both songs. Thank you for the recommendation. Cheers.🍷🍷

@@gilbeau5254 thank you for sharing that with me. I am of the thought you deserve every ounce of happiness and joy -wherever you find it. They don't dish much of it out. So, grab it like a Bengal tiger & hold it tight. Finding this video was 2 things for me. Tears & joy. So, everyone I know, will know this video. Your Recommendation made me think of Men at Works-overkill. The sax made me recall it.

@Thevintagetribute You are so very talented. Your finger on the pulse of 1980s culture is unmatched. This is literally THE BEST VIDEO I've ever seen on you tube and I joined in 2006ish. When it had 1/2 a server and almost no content. Youve served up my life using pop culture references. I'm both crying uncontrollably 😭& nostalgically. 😢😭It also inspired Memento Mori like nothing else. I often say this is the one thing about the entertainment biz I envy. Immortality. Your video makes my point easier to digest. How did this video miss me for 5 yrs in a recommendation algorithm? I peruse these type items all the time. Are you communicating with me telepathically? That is a 100% joke. I've also learned that everyone on YT does not have a sense of humor. I actually hated the 1980s because of dire poverty but, I hope you continue making videos. 🥲I'm all in. Sub'd, Liked & sharing.

Another world. I think the crappy 1970s and the end of Hollywood's studio system were the seeds that made the 80s entertaining & fun. It wasn't all a bowl of strawberries, but it was memorable. I was too young to say cocaine played a part.

I’m devastated I couldn’t support this. Right when the support was announced, my dad died. I was tied up with funerals, probate (Legal stuff tied to wills), and then dealing with the property. But I truly hope everything is a great success and I hope I will get the chance to see the final result!
