When I drive Timeless Posts, I use a pounder that I welded an extension on the pipe at the right length so that when it bottomes out on the ground the post is at the right hight. I never measure a single time

As I've seen in a another video of Greg's, probably with a different post (undrilled I think) they've learned to drive them until the driver hits dirt. No measuring at all-until time to drill--and then I'd have a stick cut with notches or holes to guide the start of the holes. I

You should keep some elecrolytes like Ultima packets or NUUN tablets or something like that for emergencies. I've done first responding at events and people get busy with what they are doing and they forget to add electrolytes until it is nearly too late. Having some on hand is a great way to de-escalate a bad situation (possibly in a first aid kit on the 4x4). You guys are out every day in the heat and you do make sure even your cattle get minerals.

I built a 5 wire perimeter fence for my wooly sheep and I used the 1.75" x 4.5' Timeless post. I had some pretty soft ground so I wanted to get the post root pretty deep in the ground. Top wire at 31" and bottom at 3". It's working so well, I think it's a bit overkill

Is it better to thread the high-tensile wire through the pre-drilled holes or tie the high-tensile wire to the post with the soft 12-gauge wire in a woods? Which method of fastening the high-tensile wire to the post holds up better when a tree or limb falls on the fence?
@gregjudyregenerativerancher
@gregjudyregenerativerancher 3 жыл бұрын
Either method will work. We have fence erected through woods with each fastening method. We just cut a big tree limb off of our Timeless fence last week. The fence was laying over pretty well with the limb weight on it. Once we cut the limb off, the fence posts popped right back up to its original position. I love Timeless Posts, they are simply the best post made in my opinion!
