Endless Summer coming to an end, Autumn is bittersweet and waiting for Summer to once begin again. Loved the abandoned villages but be careful around old structures.

Summer is only being put on pause for a short while and then we are back to the sunshine. We are changing a few things on Fergus and then we are back to Europe :) The abandoned villages are a cool place

Have you thought about putting power steering in camper, one from Corsa 2000 will fit with some adjustments. I do have power steering unit but not in yet. Would make a big difference when parking

The trip is coming nowhere near the end! We are just going to Ireland for a couple of months for over Christmas etc. While we are there we have some work to do and for us it's a lot easier to do at home. We will still be showing our trips around Ireland :) We are already planning next summers trip 😉

Yes some upgrades! I know its a 41 year old van and gives trouble time to time but you have to give credit to it haha its drove all over Spain, Portugal and South of France... almost 20,000km in less than a year

We will do a bit of touring around but mostly it will be getting stuff fixed on the van and upgrading different things. Then back to Europe

Can you say more why people abandoned the towns? or maybe a link? i'm curious how the lone man lives in an abandoned town and why authorities allow it. On the steering, maybe you need more tire pressure? but that also makes your arms and core stronger :D i'm hoping to do a EPS for mine in the future. Take Care!

Steering is easy while we drive bit when you try to reverse into a tight place or turn around in a street it can get difficult 🤣🤣

You’ll be able to fit power steering if you upgrade to a TDi engine! We fitted genuine VW PAS after installing our AHU as it has a PAS pump. Also if it has an ECU you can fit cruise control! 21st Century upgrades!
