I needed to hear this today. Since my husband's home going, I have spent almost every holiday alone. My church family and friends have been supportive, but when holidays come around, they scatter into their family groups. I even opened my home to anyone who has no where to go in a post to my church's women's group. No responses came. Unfortunately almost all my family has passed away. But God has never deserted me. This year a local bakery (run by a person from Spain) is roasting 4 turkeys for Thanksgiving and has invited anyone who has no where to go to come. And I'm going. I'm thankful for this year to have people to fellowship with. God has a way of providing for widows that is truly remarkable. Thank you for your daily podcasts. I listen to them all. God bless you.

Yo soy una mujer soltera, y durante mucho tiempo, años , no tuve amigas con quién salir, así es que estuve saliendo con personas buenas pero que no conocían de Dios, gracias a Dios ya no me sentía sola, sabía que Dios estaba conmigo, además estaban mis padres y mis hermanos, pero mis padres fallecieron y entonces fue cuando empecé a pedir a Dios por amigas que lo amaran a El, paso mucho tiempo durante el cual las personas se iban también con sus propias familias, pero a partir del año pasado 2023, que Dios me ha dado algunos grupos de amistades de personas de la iglesia, estoy contenta

So thankful for this podcast as well, my heart is so heavy too this year. So thankful for this ministry, I tend to feel alone in my struggles but listening to this snd reading the comments gives me encouragement! God Bless!!
