The ABCs of Loona Part 6 // Everything you missed in Gowon One&Only MV // The Loonaverse explained

This week again I sadly didn't have a lot of time, so there is no chibi persona in this video TT (But I will add them once the I finished the YYXY series)
This is a easy to understand summary of the Loonaverse. Since the Loonaverse Lore is pretty difficult to understand I felt like it would be the best to analyze every MV of Loona one by one. (and because this takes a very long time) I'm making multiple videos explaining the MVs. There will be more Parts of the Loona ABCs, 1 more for Olivia Hye and one for YYXY Love4eva and one for Hi High + Butterfly were I will conclude what the Story of the Loonaverse is trying to tell us. I summarize and analyze the story of the Loonaverse that is being told to us, up until the debut of Olivia Hye , by telling you the story of Gowon One and Only MV and how Gowon is gaining confidence after she meets up with Hyunjin and eats the pineapple. Through this she starts to transform into a Butterfly and joins Chuu and Yves in their mission to exit Eden.

Just wanted to say i really like your videos! I'm more of a older orbit at this point, but i never really fully got along with the lore mostly beaucse i really don't like how the majority of the fanbase tends to over theorize the Loonaverse, creating entire storylines seeming out of nowhere and birthing many popular theories that i really dont agree with. It doesn't help that what we know is canon is very scarce and there is so much lost to time, plus there really isn't a lot of orbits nowadays that still do loonaverse stuff since the majority dropped off after butterfly which i kinda understand to be honest lol anyways, i've been watching your series to help me form (and remember) my own interpretation of everything in preparation to the Artms debut, and i really like the way you organize the information in every video, being a very competent mix of both analysis aand thoerising, which is very important in understanding an confusing mv like this one lmao and it really shows that you put a lot of work and search in every episode, making everything very concise. Its a shame not more people still engage with this side of Loona, specially here on KZbin compared to Twitter so it makes your channel even more important, so thank you for all your efforts! Obrigado! Honestly I feel just like you do, it made me a little sad that the Loona theory bubble just burst, because I watched every video I could get my hands on, haha. (and I can just agree with you that it feels a little difficult to get a good grasp of the lore, hence why I completely started from 0 and analyzed the Mvs as sincere as possible to put together the story Loona wanted to tell us, instead of a version that I might want to see, if this makes sense.) And then after Loossemble put so much work into reawakening the theories with their Sensitive MV and there where maybe 5 theories max, I felt like I might just become the Loona KZbinr that I always wished for (this sounds so cheesy when I spell it out lol). All together these videos take me round about 8 hours to finish, so I kind of understand why there aren't a lot of us left, but this group and their artistry just means a lot to me and seeing people get interested in thinking about their storytelling again is enough payment for me. ^^ PS: I love your profile pic!

Aaaah I love your videos so much. I have a few ides about some symbols present in One&Only: 1. The crown and the chandelier are also there to symbolize an eclipse: when the Sun is behind the moon and the light shines a little above the moon, it's called "crown". 2. The knife and fork changing places in GoWon's hands after eating her fruit is possibly there to show an inversion, like a mirror. Like her hair is now inverted in color, Gowon's body might have inverted, like crossing over through a mirror. 3. Hyunjin is described in her solo as a shy girl who lives in the shadows, like a scared cat, so I believe the shadow motif in One&Only is there to tell us how GoWon is supposed to be brave and face the light, since her other half (hyunjin) is in the darkness, like how the back of the moon is dark when the moon is full. In Hyunjin's solo we see how she doesn't act on her feelings, doesn't change from start to finish, chooses to stay still and silent. I believe Hyunjin knows a lot about their mission (since she's a primary color, like the OEC girls) so she knows she's supposed to be still so GoWon can shine(?) idk, maybe I'm theorizing too far.

Since it's established that Hyunjin & Gowon is related, could it be Gowon represents the sun? In "Around You" MV, Hyunjin wore that cat head which associated with Egyptian goddes 'Bastet' who related to Sun God 'Ra'. The sun's outer atmosphere is called 'corona' which means 'crown' in Latin. Gowon is the only member that was shown with crown and she became blonde.

A little addition: The black mirror could be also Claude's glass. It was used by painters to look at the subject of the painting with 'fresh prespective'. In modern day, the equivalent would be test shot in photography.

I'm sure I saw a clip of Go Won herself in an interview at a music show saying her color is "Eden Green" (tried to find it but I couldn't... I can't remember if it was included in some theory video from someone, or if it was on Twitter.

@@ivanyup I don't think it was LOONA TV. I remember she was using the yyxy uniform but in the "eden green" version, as they used in M Countdown, but I couldn't find anything related to that program outside the performance itself.

It's an YYXY interview, in a setting with glass doors behind them where fans are watching from outside. I believe the interviewer is a man, and in this interview they talk about Yves looking similar to Sunmi, she dances to a Sunmi song too if I'm remembering correctly. Eden green originally comes from the titles of the different album versions. If you look up the purchase pages of the albums they were initially released on (i guess the official ones) they will show the versions of the albums with the official colour names. That's where we got unique colour names like Heejin's bright pink, Vivi's pastel rose, 1/3's mint and then mauve, Yves' burgundy, Odd Eye Circle's sky blue and then storm grey, Chuu's peach (that she later called coral in an interview), Go Won's Eden green, Olivia Hye's silver star, yyxy's apple green, and i forgot what loona's group album colours were. That's why in their interview the members said only Odd Eye Circle's colours were important to the lore, the rest were just album colours. Cause each album had a white version and a coloured version. I remember this from being a collector haha

@@florastel I also want to say I don't know if post-egoist fans are aware of this but the famous "olivia hye killed vivi" theory is because of the half second clip of the wolf's eye that we were convinced was a deer, and then confirmation bias thinking the burning swan toy was a deer toy lol. It took someone finding the original stock footage of the wolf clip online to disprove it but the theory still lingers which confuses me hahahaha

Hi, I really like your videos, well I really liked the fact that you pointed out the myth of the sword of (???) I don't know much about the myth... I think that one&only is one of the most confusing mvs, we know See Saw takes place before this one where Gowon makes a bracelet and puts it around a cat's neck and the cat goes to Earth and gives it to Hyunjin, maybe this is something that leaves them as equals Gowon indirectly helps Hyunjin and Hyunjin indirectly helps Gowon. In the description of "One & only" it says that "Gowon is in the same place as yves and chuu" which doesn't make much sense since the mv takes place in Eden. In fact, it doesn't even make sense that Yves and Chuu appear in the mv since they are technically on Earth. In the mv there is a lot of talk about the "the secret door of hopeness" in this case the door of hope would be choery the only oddeye that have the power to travel between reality that would have took them back to Eden, (I have a lot to talk about choery but I won't comment on it here otherwise it would get too big) Ok then she eats the pineapple which is not a fruit (in fact the pineapple is an essence fruit) and then she scapes from eden going towords the "Door".On track B (rosy) we see that gowon and Olivia are at least close to each other.Sooo yeah... The last shadow that we see in the post credit scene of the mv would be hyunjin/choerry since in all the post credit scenes of all the membrs of subunit yyxy we see a member of the 1/3 (with the exception of new) On the minute 22.03 Gowon talks a little bit about her The interview is with Kpop chap

First of all thank you, and the sword is called "damocles sword". Yeah, I feel like some aspects are still a little unclear, but overall you're right about Hyunjin and Gowon already being in contact, so it does make sense that they communicate. And about Yves and Chuu, I feel like they are in Eden, since Yves traveled back to Eden to save the other members, and Chuu wasn't yet on earth at this point in the timeline. I theorized about Chuu meeting Haseul in middle earth at the end of the Heart Attack MV and not being able yet to leave Eden behind, since she wants to be with Yves (who is in Eden). I feel like the post credit scene is in middle earth since they are seen in a blank black void space, that is seen in Haseuls Let Me In MV, in Jinsouls Singing In The Rain MV and in Yves New MV, so it might just be symbolical for the space between earth and Eden.
