Sister I think the priests and the Pharisees and others of their authorities knew that Jesus was the Messiah, however they😢 were so embedded in the corrupt political system through their position afforded them. They were satisfied to stay with what they😢 had rather than to accept JESUS as their Messiah who did not seem to be the Messiah they had in mind and was looking for. How are we😢 different to?
