I agree 99% with you peek. The only ship I’d add to this list is the king of secondaries and that Prinz Rupprecht. With Hyde she is a monster if played right, 11.6 km secondaries and 5 heals is great, yes the main battery accuracy isn’t the best but once you are in secondary range it’s barbecue time

Peek play style with BB's is to sit back, hide behind a rock, and bow tank. Scharnhorst is a brawler BB, with good secondaries, turtleback armor, and torps. I played 562 games with Scharnhorst and have 72% wins. It is a very good T6 BB.

I honestly find Marco Polo pretty good. The SAP shells are really useful for cruisers or angled BBs, an the italian smoke screen lets you reposition safely.

Totally agree with you about tier 7. There are so many really good BBs in the tier, if there wasn't so much HE spam at tier 7, BBs would rule the waves at that tier. Tier 7 is my go to pick for the most well rounded gameplay between all the classes. Tier 8 can have some potential if they continue to flesh it out and add more diverse ships. Legendary tier could have been great, but unfortunately it will always be a shit show due to 90% of the bureaus being available to any potato that can pick up a controller.

Also, Lenin should be recognized. While it can't be obtained anymore, it's stupidly well armored and shrugs off HE like flies. And the guns are laser beams out to about 12km, which is just fine because nothing is going to stop Lenin from closing that gap. It's nearly as maneuverable as Alabama and has a better rudder shift. Oh and it's fast too

I had a 220k game in Musashi with, among others, a clear skies medal against a Lexington. It has AA. Not the best. But it is there. ALSO! The fact that you didnt mention P. Rupprecht for T8 is a crime.

I think Hood at tier 6 should've been mentioned, yes she's squidgy but when angled properly she's pretty tough, she's fast and her guns hit hard, her sonar catches destroyers pretty hard n HE slaps

Personal fav per tier: V Izmail - Skill based BB that rewards players who play it correctly at mid ranges. (Got 7 kills and 4 devsteikes in 1 game with this thing!) VI Sinop - The only tech tree ship that is close to being this good is NC but it's accuracy is like a sinop at far ranges, but at any range with the NC. VII Pick any VII American - all tier 7 American bbs have great armor, aa, accuracy, great AP angles on some, and secondaries. There is an American bb for every occasion. Now with the addition of the NJ ship and commander, America is at its strongest at this tier. VIII - Sov hands down. Those things just don't die sometimes!!!! Literal floating titanium bathtub with great guns. * Yamato. Enough said. Wish they would rebuff its accuracy a bit with tier 8 and legendary matchmaking now.

Tier 5...West Virginia is a sniper boat that has served me well, and the guns overmatch most of the tier....yes shes slow but turns well and at 17k range mine can crossfire well

I’m not surprised that you left two of my favorites out because I know it isn’t your preferred play style but Odin andMarco Polo are both ships that I love. Odin is a rare BB in that it can contest caps extremely well. You can pull into an island and play it like a Hipper. It has planes to spot over islands and deal with aircraft, a good 5km sonar, high dpm and a 16 second reload with my build while still using both accuracy inspirations. Add in torps and a decent rudder and I just love it. The quick reload allows me to switch shell types often so I’m usually shooting the correct shell. I can absolutely hunt DDs in this BB which is not something I would recommend in pretty much any other BB. My most played ship with close to 2m xp. Marco Polo is a ship I like a lot. The SAP shells are incredibly consistent and do way more damage than I expected them to do. 16 inch Italian guns absolutely slap when I switch to AP on broadside targets. Italian tt ships are inaccurate but MP and Roma with Iachino and Cunningham are more accurate than they get credit for and they have great ballistics. Solid list overall. The two I mentioned are just personal favorites of mine.

I second your opinion sir on the Odin...my favorite ship in the game...with respect to Peek's list, I like the up close/brawling game play better...the Odin does that better than any other ship IMHO...low profile, good armor...small fast firing guns with torps...play her like a very heavy cruiser and she is tough to push out of those caps.

@@xTouragx I’m with you 100% on brawling BBs. I personally find them much more fun to play than long range BBs and I think they have more impact on actually winning the game. As a solo player, you just can’t count on your teammates to do things like cap and target DDs

i really felt like Georgia should of been at least better then Alabama considering you get bigger guns,better,dispersion,speed boost,speedy heal while it’s more vulnerable and can get cit at weird angles but that’s a case of the pros outweighing the cons plus wile running the American plotting room you still get a reload of 26 second’s and biggest alpha of any bb with even 1k more then yammie and the only ship at tier 7 that can manhandle Edinburgh’s. considering you can overmatch 30mm and just a tiny bit better AA and with the New Jersey commander you can get her to do 19,9k per citadel

My question is this: should i go for the yamato or buy myself the schlieffen project? Obviously the yamato has the best main armamanet in the game, but the schlieffen has the best secondary range of them all, plus torpedos.

Suzy is great if you have AL Atago. If you don’t I might lean more towards Bama. Depends on what you like to play.

Go for Suzy. Fifteen rounds every ten seconds and you're almost guaranteed a fire with every salvo. Tons of long range torpedoes for kiting. Just a really fun cruiser all around if you can play at long range and have good incoming shot awareness.

@@TheT95tutel Russian cruisers have good ballistics so it’s easy to shoot and hit targets American split techtree that leads to Kansas is good because Kansas has the highest dpm out of any bb since you get 12 406mm and North Carolina is one of the best tier 6 bb Italian bb’s are pretty tanky and more brawler focused it’s a fun line Pan Europe dd’s only get good at skane and ostergotland Russian dd’s aren’t really that good nor in the current meta French dd are a blast considering from the tier 5 and up you get two main battery reload boosters base and good hp French cruisers are agile and are built to juke people to Make them overshoot or u undershoot and at charles martel you get main battery reload booster so she’s really good french bb’s are ok but that’s about it only get to 380mm so no overmatch and if you want good secondaries for bb the split German bb techtree is fun and really good for secondaries wouldn’t waster your time playing German cruisers they blow up easy and take a lot of pens and dmg
