What I learned this year is that moment gameplay experience is nothing compared to SB or Rivals so I am ignoring how bad they feel there. I played like 3 Rivals games and never could win a draw against him

Faceoffs he's an ace in the hole. Obviously his slapshot is insane when u pop it off. Just not a player that takes bumps very good. He'll lose the puck.

You should make zubov for your rangers theme team. He was on the stars much longer than the rangers but he was on the 94 rangers Stanley cup team.

@ sorry I didn’t hear you say you would make him. The rangers dropped the ball by trading him. I’m 33 so I didn’t start following the rangers until about 2000 but zobov and leetch would have been a lockdown pair for a while. At least they got 1 cup out of them.

Hey Dino I finished the entire xp path including all the bonus tiers with 11 days remaining til the next season. I’m not trying to brag and I’m a pretty average player, but has this happened to you or anyone else? Because I see most people I play already have the victor hedman card. I just think they could have put more in the xp path, because what is there to grind for now? Other than moments and the little rewards they give you in champs where every game is a dog fight.

I also completed it all few days ago and now will focus on moments where I don’t earn any XP. I don’t mind that it’s like that because each XP path it gives me 10 days to take a break and focus on playing the game the way I like. I personally think there are enough rewards in the game because if you look at everyone’s teams they are stacked, last year with packs teams where no where near this good 3 month in. I will just play chores and Rivals to use the players I actually grind for

I finished 99 the day before this event dropped. Let’s be honest nobody will invest in holos anymore. What do you think will happen to xfactors season 2? My sense is the hype is dead now.

They will release them for sure but I am not sure how good those cards should be to make anyone making them. I am not sure what I want to do with my silvers now, will go and make PWHL cards like I wanted, no need to chase holos at this point

@ Good idea. The game is evolving we have to adapt. Just so much grind and so little time playing this year. I think we need a better balance next year.

Of course they will. These cards stay at 89 and holos will be 99. The only cards worth investing in are cards that will be 99 ovr.

Quick question they keep bringing back the cover athletes cards and I am wondering should we be holding on to the 86 overall cover athletes? Like is there a chance theres another upgrade coming? I just find it weird they keep bringing the cards back.

I don’t think there will be an upgrade for them, they may use Quinn H as a trade in to have a cheaper TOTY card maybe but I mostly think they bring it back because of new players joining the game, it’s cheap to make and also have a free ability if you do the 86 overall card

No, they stay on these MSPs all year, we don’t know if we will see more master set players with free abilities in the future but we will see. Not sure where you get the info but EA confirmed they are there to stay when I asked yesterday

Good cards, .but too small. They remind of Jack Hughes with free AP. Had him at launch and was off the team in weeks. I didn't like how easy it was to get bumped off the puck. I would still rather have Gretzky Mario Sundin and Iggy

I'm trying out Sakic's GOG card in wildvard...I also went for Roy's holo card and Lidstroms to test out. Lidstroms speed stat is 89 but skates like a boat. Not impressed. I was close to making the halo cards and EA now has devalued the set. It was expensive and a long grind for the people who were loyal by buying game at launch. Ea is just trying to make there best bang for there buck with Christmas sales. There just trying to get the newbies to buy in for the free abilities with GOG while disrespecting there loyal customers who bought game at launch. They need to increase value of halo cards or they will just lose money in long wrong.

Pulled an 89 MSP Sakic last night. Got lucky as hell. Im probably gonna make Zubov and Bourque. Did yhe moments. Those cards played well. Yzer gets knocked of the puck easily, outside of the faceoffs and his snapshot. His card is underwhelming. But might grab him for the 4th line. The players I'd have to bench is unreal, though. Great vid Dino!! My first year playing Hut, and I can only see a small amount of room for the toty cards to be better. The winter classic Kyrou card has 94 speed. Not sure how to get him, though. Hit 435,000 XP yesterday and got Hedman. Made Big Joe, love the way he plays with gold unstoppable. Big center with great wingers, cant go wrong. I have him with the 88 totw Brayden Point (great card) and FF McDavid. Too many options in this game, so much you can grind for. Love it, but it's a grind!!!

yes, its all "online" what's not online is like career mode or gm mode. squad battles and wild card are considered online even if you play the cpu

What they will do to make toty cards stand out: Free upgrades and free abilities. So yes save your fodder and don't waste it on every event.

Free abilities - we already have holos and now even MSPs. Free upgrades - once every month or so? To upgrade card they need to release another card who usually is better. To upgrade Holos or X factors cost you nothing this year so where is the point and what exactly will make TOTY better, they should get more upgrades and with that I mean more often, if you have to spend more than 1M for a card you want it to be good and with the power creep not below other master set items

The holos are irrelevant the last 3 weeks as well with all the MSPs we are getting, When they will upgrade they have to release cards and 1000% they will be more OP as EA cant release the content properly
