Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time KZbinr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. Totally agree! I couldn't stop thinking about how Jen mentioned that Reddit post about her where someone said she moves her arms like a robot. First of all that's absurd... But when I saw the inclusion of bloopers my immediate thought was "it's relatable & makes Jen seem more "human" for lack of a better word. I think sometimes people forget that content creation takes up so much time & when editing, sometimes a creator (or whoever edits for them in some cases) may edit a video to the point that it's all info & zero "human", if that makes any sense. 😅

Hi Jen, I have a video request for you to try some products from your local beauty supply store (not Sally Beauty). Most of the stores in my area in New Jersey carry wigs and wig products, but they also carry cosmetics mostly from brands like Ruby Kisses, Nikka K who has a liner, both for lips and eyes, called Stay Ever Gel Liners that are the longest lasting eye and lip liners I ever used and they are only $1.99, they come in pink and lavender wooden pencils. I also saw some eye shadow palettes that seemed to be dupes for the Huda 9 pan palettes and blush duos with a cream and matching powder that dupe Patrick Ta, or at least they appear to be trying to. Also lip oil and glosses and click up melty sticks and lots of other products. I thought it may be a fun video.

As a teen, I did use the CoverGirl foundation, but ONLY on school picture day. I'm glad its in a tube now instead of the bottle. I remember using Qtips to get it out and rub it on my face with my fingers because we didnt have beauty blenders or brushes to apply. Covergirl has always remained a favorite for complexion products like their foundation. I have never tried ELF's version. I've only tried their concealer and an eyeshadow palette. I wasn't impressed with the concealer I tried, but I love the palette. I definitely want to try their foundation, including the one in a jar.

I'm not someone to just go out and buy whatever I hear about on KZbin, but I ended up ordering every single thing you used in your rms video because I love natural looking makeup and from what I understand it's a clean beauty brand. I'm so excited to be using the new products although it cost me a little fortune. 😊 your makeup in that video looked so healthy and natural. Loved it.

I TOTALLY agree on the Winky Lux lip oil! I will never buy another oil. Most of them are useless. This one is literally the best. The one with the petals in it is clear and smells and tastes like cake batter but the oil itself is absolutely the best. I bought mine on Amazon. I’ll never use anything else!

I have dry skin with a few signs of aging, and virtually poreless skin. I do have a few pores on the front of my cheeks around the nose, and between my brows. I know that the Impossible stick primer from Wet n Wild received mixed reviews, but I found that it really does a great job of blurring these areas. Great video, Jen! I shopped Miss A for the first time after watching.😊

Great video! I love the tip about purples for cool toned blush. I also experience cool pinks looking more warm or peach than I intended, because I am super cool-complected. I also tried the Romand glasting tints but I had to throw all 6 of them away due to the smell.

Hi Jen, thanks for the video. I haven't tried any of these products so far, but I'm going to buy and try the new CoverGirl foundation in the next few days. I want to point out another difference between the CoverGirl and elf foundations. The Cover Girl, as far as I can tell, has no fragrant ingredients or added fragrance. The elf product has hibiscus extract, which is fragrant. IMHO, the CG product is more suitable for sensitive skin.

I bought the Shop Miss A Foundation and the duel blush when you reviewed them last month. Got the foundation a shade darker than I normally use and mix it with a little one, been working really well. The blush is going in my travel makeup bag. Thanks for recommending the site.

Hi Jen .. huge fan. Thank you for always providing your audience with quality informative well researched content. I have had problem skin my entire adult life. I swear by It Cosmetics “Your Skin but Better” foundation. It has lived up to it’s claim. My skin is not just better, but it has a smooth appearance and NO BREAKOUTS. I put the L’Oréal liquid blush on at 9 in the morning and at 10:00 at night when I was washing my face it was just as bright and perfect as it was when I first put it on. Love them!
