Dude; your videos bring me peace. After a long day of running calls and losing my mind, I’ll put on some KZbin and watch your videos and feel calm. Can’t explain it. Idk if it’s the background music, your narration or what, but keep up the good work brother!

I have a video of starting the heat on the same units on a club I take care of , so when I started the heat on them I had water pumping out of all the combustion grills , from condensation inside the tubes in the summer. Talk about rusting out heat exchangers . They are junk

Physical troubleshooting always fadcinated me. I have heard from my colleagues in the field that York units are notorious for having problems, at least up here in canada

How stupid of York to not separate the heating and cooling circuits safetys. I'd ditch the piston and install a TXV. Nice find Ryan
@HughesManHVAC4 ай бұрын
Thanks Jason! Think I’ll recommend that txv
@caffeinatedinsanity23244 ай бұрын
I don't know... Do York unit's refrigeration circuits do both the heating an cooling? Or either they are separate, or the heater is electrical.

That is one of the dumbest things those Yorks will do. The heat lock out stops the cooling? 😅

Can't remember the brand but some residential furnaces will drop voltage on "R" when limit opens.

I'm not an HVAC technician but I know s little about air conditioning and was wondering why on a 3 phase unit the condenser fans are PSC or capacitor start and not 3 phase? I've watched various videos on HVAC repair and even on 480v units the condenser fans have capacitors which I am almost certain means single phase
@jasonjohnsonHVAC4 ай бұрын
@DanT271 it's not really until you get into the larger tonnage unit's that the condenser fan motors go to 3 phase. My guess is it's a cost savings thing. Usually the 3 phase motors are also 1hp and above. These types use fractional horsepower motors.
