I really miss AC&J's excursion trains and I wish they should bring back their excursions

I agree, the AC&J Railroad is a Great Operation! I have a few more videos I will be posting of their Excursion Trains. I recorded both the Wild West Weekend and the Civil War re-enactment. I will be posting these soon for everyone to Enjoy!

We all do. I remember riding them all the time as a younger kid. The Christmas train in 2012 or 2013 I believe is the last one I got to ride.

@@markjl261 iirc weren’t some of those cars owned by Steamtown at one time

@@nicholasmedovich8691 I will have to do some research on that. The AC&J did purchase the open air car from the former Knox and Kane Railroad. I believe it was used on the train that operated out of Marienville, Pennsylvania. The AC&J Railroad ended their tourist operation several years ago. They are mainly a freight shortline railroad now.

@@nicholasmedovich8691 I did find some information online that some of the AC&J Railroad Passenger Cars were originally built for the Long Island Railroad. I do remember Steamtown having cars just like these, what I'm not sure of is if the AC&J Railroad Passenger Cars were ever used on the Steamtown Railroad operation. It may take me some time to do some digging to find the answer to the question, I am now also curious myself. I spent 6 years working part time as one of the Conductor's on the AC&J Railroad Excursion Trains and helped with the Freight operation before I relocated to Texas. I starting working here as a shortline railroad locomotive engineer in 2010 and will soon have 13 years working my dream job!
